WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS REFUSES SALES?
I’ve been eating Bishops Chili for 55 years. I grew up by the original restaurant on 18th & Damien in Chicago. I was in the Westmont restaurant today, sitting at the bar watching the Bears game. I wanted to order a quart of chili and eat it there. The size of their bowls wouldn’t feed a ten year old. I was told I couldn’t do that. I even had my own bowl in the car that would hold the whole quart. I ended up not eating anything and left shortly after that. What kind of business refuses sales? Read moreThis place has not changed since I first came here in the middle 1980's. The menu is super simple with their famous Chili on a bowl, hot dog, tamale, polish or a bratwurst, that's it. They also have some local micro brewer's beers. The gaming area has free bottle water, soft drinks and chips for the people playing the slot machines, which I thought it was nice. Now the bad part!! No wheelchair accessible entrance. Please be advice, they don't take credit or debit cards, it's a CASH ONLY...

I asked about the difference and the gal pointed to a small sign at the bar saying prices have gone up - but the new prices are not reflected on the menu. Errr, excuse me, but I call BS.
