J. Flemings Absolutely Delicious — Restaurant in Westmont

Let me tell you... "Absolutley Delicious"???? Oh no!!! This was THE WORST RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER EATEN AT! White Castle is a 5 star gourmet restaurant compared to this dump... The owner is a total ah*le... when we asked what's good on the menu he replied, " everything sucks" and he wasn't joking! Calamari was disgusting, tasted worse than a rubber... the sauce was fizzing... like they put baking soda in it or was from 5yrs ago... Philly sandwiches looked like the meat was boiled or microwaved and it was gray... 🙈 Cesar salad had sour cream on it instead of dressing... What a horrible Experience... on top of ALL that, after we walked out the owner ran out and flicked us off!!!!! What?? He should be happy we paid for that garbage! I'm hoping we won't get food poisoning or e-coli from that! I will be filling a complaint with the health department because no one deserves to be eating spoiled food... would give it no star but it's not allowed... At least when you eat at a dump you know what to expect. Don't be fooled by the good reviews... the owner probably wrote them himself.... oh AND HE CALLED THE COPS ON US!!!! ...

I like old floors and decorated walls very interesting. We went there on a Tuesday lunch which was nice they were not very busy. Nice selection of beers on tap with a wide variety of flavor. We ordered the mushrooms for starter. They were great flavor and not overdone like many tend to do. Nice flavor. We had creamy tomatoe soup and really enjoyed the fresh tomato flavors not just like they just dumped it from a can. I had the special which was a salad the 2 sliders,the beef was nice and tender and I chose the stuffed pepper soup as my side. The stuffed pepper soup was delicious vlend without being to bold or hot. My son had the French dip sandwich which if you have had Arby's dip this one is way better than theirs it actually had other flavors than just salt. Portions were a good size and all authentic table were really glad we tried the place and knee we would be coming back to here if in town again. Nothing super fancy ...

Urgent care nurse across the street recommended his place when I asked for somewhere to eat nearby. Not sure if this is typical or not, but there was only 3 tables of people when we arrived and yet service was awful. Waited for 10 minutes for water and to place our order. I ordered a salad with ranch dressing and it came with a different dressing on it. It was absolutely covered in marinated pears. There was only maybe 1.5 ounces of chicken on it which was a complete rip off. I sent it back and didn’t eat an entree. Tomato and goat cheese appetizer was mediocre. My kids orders came out without their side. Took 10 minutes to get them. Very difficult to get the waiters attention. The table down from us continuously went up to the bar inside to get drinks themselves. Waited another 12 minutes to get waiters attention for the check. On a positive note, it was a pretty nice patio setting and good music playing out of...
