UncleDaddy BBQ — Restaurant in Westmont

I met the proprietor at a business next door to his and he invited me to try his bbq. I read the reviews prior to going and they weren't bad, so I decided to try it out. Well first thing, I attempted to call my order in but the phone number was out of order. Should have taken that as a sign, but I didn't. I decided what I wanted before I went to expedite my order. I tried to order the rib tips only (sold by the pound) and 2 large mac and cheese sides. I was told they no longer sold them separately and I could only get them in a meal. So I ordered 3 meals for my family and had mac and cheese as my sides. I had veggies at home, so I chose to have them. The best thing I can say about this food was that the meat was tender. It lacked flavor and so did the mac and cheese. The best thing on my plate was the veggies that I prepared myself. Not to mention the portions of ribs tips may have been equal to a pound for all 3 plates combined. So I paid $12-14 more for much less food that I would have gotten had I been able to order from the menu as printed. I can also say that the service was great. THE MEAT IS SPOILED, SOUR, AND HAD A TWANG TO IT. IT WAS DISGUSTING. Smelled like it has been sitting in vinegar for Day'ssssssss. My family have been throwing up for the last 20 minutes. Whatever kind of sauce that is.... STOP IT!!! UncleDaddy should be in BBQ JAIL. I'm not into shaming black business but Yawl know better than to service people this nasty food. NEVER again in LIFE! I ordered a half chicken this is what they gave me😕

so it’s been a year since I’ve been to this place I decided to give them one last try and see if they got their act together but nope. today I went got there at 4:30 PM. They had no brisket. Of course I knew that. Lmaoo So I look on the menu that is outside of the building and it says they serve meat by the pound (false) I asked for 2 pounds of rib tips. The lady tells me they only sell rib tips by the plate. I’ve never heard of such a ridiculous thing in my life.
