Zucca Gastrobar — Restaurant in Westport

Zucca Gastropub at 30 Charles St. in Westport is not 4.4 star restaurant. Zucca is a 10 star restaurant! There is no better way to begin the NEW YEAR of 2025 than with a FABULOUS brunch in a BEAUTIFUL restaurant where food is served by BEAUTIFUL people. Am I dreaming? I find the food at restaurants in CT just to be mediocre. At Zucca Gastropub the quality of my entire experience outshines any experience I've had in a 5 star Michelin restaurant. From the Swan in Hawaii on the Island of Maui (once the most expensive restaurant in America) to the Four Seasons to the Waldorf(brunch there was $200) to Le Cirque. No brunch has ever "Blown my skirt up" like the "Eggs Benny" & Lemon pancakes at Zucca Gastropub. Not to mention the OUTSTANDING service from ERIN, KIRSTEN & LUCAS. On the full menu I'm looking forward to experiencing the Octopus, lamb chops, antipastas, pizza just to name a few. 4.2 miles from my front door. This makes dinning very convenient. A bi-weekly endeavor that wii satisfy my every craving. No one will be disappointed at ZG's. Something for the masses. Reasonably priced an served by the "BEST". I have recently returned to ZUCCA'S GASTROBAR to indulge on two of my favorite items fom the biblical menu(their menu is long, like a bible). Octopus & lamb chops. Grilled Octopus seasoned to perfection. The Octupus was not gummy or chewy. It was grilled with absolute undivided attention as well as the Lamb chops. Succulent, juicy and pure deliciousness. As I write I can remember the taste sensations from both making ZUCCA'S GASTROBAR my favorite. In addition I would like to add Nick as one of the beautiful servers at this establishment. An OUTSTANDING server whose disposition, poise and attentiveness makes first time customers always repeat customers!!...

The BEST spot to open in Westport in the last year. Zucca is a must-try and will become a regular for our family. I've had brunch there and also hosted a private event, and both experiences were fantastic.

The brunch was delicious, we had the frittata and the french toast with some delicious drinks that were so pretty, and the mimosa flights are such a fun option for a meal with friends or a way to celebrate! The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous (even the bathroom!) and the food is next level. I'm dying to go back to try their incredible pastas, and I loved their simple but delicious caesar salad at my event. The staff was so incredibly accommodating.

For my private event (my bridal shower), the star of the show was Zucca's INCREDIBLE owner, Kirsten. There's above and beyond, and then there's Kirsten's level of professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine passion for what she does. Kirsten is the reason to book your event at Zucca. She not only assisted with event design, decor, set up, and breakdown, but also kindly accepted all of our questions and was a constant (but never annoying) presence throughout our event. They even dried individual slices of citrus to bring my Pinterest board dreams of a mimosa bar to life... again, talk about the DETAILS! I also found their prices to be incredibly reasonable. Booking at Zucca means your guests are simply guaranteed to have an incredible experience, and the attendees of my bridal shower couldn't stop raving about every element, from the food, to the ambiance, to the absolutely amazing staff.

This incredible woman-owned business is a Westport gem with delicious food, a gorgeous atmosphere, friendly staff and a stellar events team. I can't wait to make another trip...

I would like to start by saying I am a very avid restaurant enthusiast. I often order seafood or poultry or a good burger or steak from various places around Fairfield County and into Litchfield County too. This food sadly was disappointing and so was the service. I emailed the owner on the online form to give my feedback too. I love the location, close to the train, local to exit 17, nearby the beach area and Saugatuck has a lot to offer. I was disappointed with the salmon because it was bland and had no sides but minute portion of broccoli rabe. I was erroneously charged for a dinner meal portion when I ordered off the lunch menu. Then the hostess told me the pricing was wrong so I had to pull it up online to show her the advertised price for lunch on the website. The chicken was also bland and came with no sauce on it and a small green side as well. I would have loved a half a baked potato, a handful of fingerling potatoes or a small scoop of risotto or mashed potatoes and I would have happily paid extra for it. I think a lot can be done with this ambiance and environment and location but the portions were not aligned with the menu’s advertising and the pricing was inaccurate. They did price adjust once I showed the lunch menu as advertised. I am attaching photos of what I received. The fries were cold by the time I got them because the hostess forgot my takeout was ready so it sat near the bar waiting for me while I sat looking at it for ten minutes. Disappointing and hoping the owner emails me back about my experience so I can update this review. I would not recommend after...
