Ok I tried giving them a chance to make things right but since they’re refusing to help me, I guess I’m going to have to turn to social media to get my $9 refund 😂 and yes I sure am doing all this over $9 because I paid for something I did not get!
I ordered joes cafe in westwego through Uber eats Saturday night and they had a buy one get one deal for the half dozen mixed donuts so I ordered some. When the driver got to joe’s, he called me and advised that they did not have the donuts I ordered I asked if there was even just glazed donuts and he said no. I told him to tell the store to just mark it unavailable so that I’d get a refund. I WAS TOLD I WOULD GET A REFUND! When my order arrived, nothing was adjusted (which the stores can do on their end because they sure as hell would have adjusted it to charge me extra if I asked for something to be added, so they’re 100% able to mark something unavailable and do a price adjustment) but ANYWAY I noticed it wasn’t done so I contacted Uber eats they wanted to confirm with Joe’s that what I was saying was true so they asked me to hold and called joes. Nobody answered. This agent called several times and I even tried multiple times because I was furious at this point. He was unable to refund me because of Uber eats policy AND JOES SIMPLY IGNORING THE PHONE RINGING OFF THE HOOK!!! I decided to wait until the next morning. I called in and the kitchen manager spoke with me and advised she would pass it on to the other manager and they would follow up with me. I have yet to receive a phone call. So I tried messaging the Facebook page. (Messages exchanged below) Y’all are playing games bro. This is legit the worst customer service I have ever experienced I just want my damn $9 back for what I did not receive!!! My family has frequented joes for years and never had issues until now. It’s absolutely ridiculous that I’m having to go to this extent for someone to simply do the right thing!!!! I’m truly disappointed af bc I love y’all’s donuts and food but this is bad management at its finest and I will not be back to support this business...
Read moreThe Joes Donuts on Westbank Expressway nearby Subway and nearby Mire's Laundromat. We had a terrible experience. The waitress didn't go by 1st come 1st serve rule. We was first t come in and she took our order for drinks and said she's coming right back with her notepad to take our food order. But she didn't come right back, she proceeded to wait on 4, 5 maybe more counter people & at least 1 table. All those people came in and got taken care of after us. We were inside before all 4, 5 or 6 (I lost count). Later I even went so far as to ask her if she didn't like us? Us 2, we felt slighted. The family at the table were all ready done with their food and our food still had not arrived. It must of been over an hour before we got our food. The eggs overcooked, the bacon didn't look good and didn't taste good, and the French toast I suppose was ok. The 2 of us got into it with each other as he doesn't like any kind of commotion coming out. But if I've been disrespected, I can't help but speak out about it. I was way to nice and didn't say 1/4 of what I wanted to say to this waitress. She told me I need to be patient and a little later I got mad and I told she had no business telling me I needed to be patient. It was all very upsetting for us 2 but especially for me. I'm past 65, have dizziness & chronic fatigue and must have the help of a wheelchair, not to mention other mental and physical ailments. I felt there must be some reason for us to be treated badly like this. She was doing all on her on except for the food cooking etc. but a waitress ought to follow the 1st come 1st serve rule in my opinion or someone will feel slighted like we felt. Read moreUPDATE: They no longer have the Cheesy Joe. I purchased a shrimp poboy Saturday...there were 6 shrimp on it...they advertise as "overstuffed." It's not even half stuffed. And, tonight, Joe's in Westwego let me down me down...AGAIN!...and for the last time! I placed an online order for pickup through the Joe's website...like I've done a hundred times before. My order was accepted, and card charged. Receipt indicated my order would be ready at 10:51. I arrived at 10:50...the lights were turned off. I proceeded to the drive up window, noticing there was no order where they usually put pickup orders, I waited patiently for one of the two employees who were inside to acknowledge I was there...but they simply ignored me. They went into the kitchen. I decided to call to find out the status of my order...I could hear the phone ring through the window, but neither person answered. I called a couple of more times...still neither employee answered. So, I knocked on the window...a female employee walked out of the kitchen, but completely ignored me. I knocked again...and. again, ignored. I called the Marrero store to find out if their was a manager that I could talk to...to find out if they closed early...although, normally, the system won't allow you to place an online order an hour prior to closing time. I was told to call the Westwego store in the morning. This isn't the first time I've been screwed over by Joe's in Westwego...but it's damn sure going to be the last! NEVER AGAIN! Now, I'll have to contact Discover, and tell them to reverse the charge. NEVER AGAIN! The cheesy joe is an awesome Burger... Get it on a jalapeno bun! A little taste of heaven...
