My mom has been in the hospital 15 times since January. I usually get here late afternoon after work and usually have coffee with me. However, my sister, Bridget comes on the weekends and always stops to talk with Sam and get coffee and a bagel or pastry. She tells me how very nice he is. He is her "coffee friend". Today my mom asked for a coffee, so I stopped to talk to Sam. Besides him being extremely friendly and personable (we could've talked about food and Italian cooking for hours), the coffee was delicious, plus after talking he mentioned some of the dishes he makes for lunch. It sounded so good and when I told him I was hungry, he went out of his way to make food for my mom and me. She had a panini and I had mine in a bowl. Both were grilled chicken with greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, blue cheese, and homemade dressing. It was beyond amazingly delicious and my mom was so happy to have it instead of hospital food. Read moreThe owner of this Kiosk is a hardworking, extremely kind, and very friendly man. Every customer he has loves. He let me be his assistant and help him work and I was thrilled. He was willing to help me learn and every tip we got he gave to me plus a 10 dollars. Even though I insisted we spilt the tips. He is friendly to every person he sees. If they are kids, staff, or even disabled people he treats them with the same respect and provides for them as soon as possible. This guy would never cheat you or rip you off. He always double checks the transactions and makes the best coffees and pastries. I played him in chess and he was such a good player. He could be the next Magnus Carlson. Some people even refer to him as mother Teresa and he offers the best service. He even has some vegetarian options as well. Please come support his business because he...

Remarkably engaging with his loyal customers, or "big fans" as he calls them. Cranberry cake and bagel were fresh and quite good, coffee was great although a bit too hot at first.
Everything is more than reasonably priced. As a foreigner who grew up absent of tipping culture, he jokes with his customers acting not to understand why they give him extra money. Though he does talk a big game about his goods, the inherent quality reinforces his ability to do so, as well as his humility in expressing admiration for his wife’s contributions and his loyal customers. He genuinely appears to care more about nourishing his customers wholesomely and properly than...
