I do not like this hospital, my mom has been bringing up blood thru her tubes majority of her 5 wk stay, she also ended up getting a new infection despite already being on antibiotics and breathing treatment. The primary doc did not discontinue ativan when requested to take it off her med list, continuing to give it. My mom body has been swollen with fluids majority of her stay despite being on a duretic. Liquid sitting in her chest wound multiple times from not being changed correctly. 1 day it took the nurse over 3 hrs to change my mom who had a BM, the nurse was too busy with 4 other patients and busy laughing with coworkers. Feeding tube kept getting clogged diff days!!! The doctors are not on the same page/lack of communication. Half the staff ignore or brush off the patients especially being that they dont have a voice. My mom almost fell out the bed a few times. She also became depressed from not getting out the bed, just staring at the TV and walls for 5 wks. Always had to open the blinds when visiting. Overall, she regressed at the end. Our 41 year old son was moved from Nassau University Medical Center to CareOne LTACH on July 25, 2019 and was released to Burke Rehabilitation Hospital on August 31, 2019. We are very impressed with the care and compassion he received while there. The nursing staff is excellent and the doctors are among the best! We were all treated with respect and compassion as they attended to weaning him off the trach as well as treating his other medical issues. There are always those nurses who go the extra mile for their patients and CareOne has many such nurses. We also found the doctors to be patient and understanding as they explained medical procedures and test results. The housekeepers were also instrumental in attending to our needs and lifting our spirits. We were blessed to have such compassionate and caring doctors, nurses, and staff. Our son has a long road ahead of him but CareOne has given him a good send-off to recovery! Thank you so much for making a very difficult time...

Sorry my experience here wasn't as nice as the other reviews. My client came in here on the first day I came to care for my her, her room was really dirty garbage spilling over onto the floor. The dinner tray from the night before sitting in a garbage can. The linen bin linen was spilling out to the floor. The garbage in the bathroom was filled to the top. She didn't receive breakfast until 11:30 that morning. They said there was a problem in the kitchen

Nurse gives her meds yet no food in her stomach to cost it. I had to give her food I brought for myself so she wouldn't have a bad stomach ache.

Very poor service Nurse only came in to give her meds never came to check on her Every 3/4hrs she came. I was there from 8 am to 8pm Nurse cake in 2/3 times for the day. I give this hospital very low rating.

I wouldn't recommend a dead fly for mouth to mouth resutation . People Are slow as...
