Closeout Bats — Local services in Westwood

I ordered a bat through their website - an Easton Ghost 33/23.. Something obviously went wrong with my order as a representative "Roy" had to email after the order was placed to find out my address. My credit card info, bat selection and my address was all filled out in order to complete the order. (as we all have done hundreds of times on countless websites). We all know, no order form will allow you to submit if information is not filled in. I should have realized at this time there was an issue with the order.

The bat arrived and it was an Easton Ghost but the incorrect size.

I emailed "Roy" to let him know they had shipped the wrong bat size. I was told to ship it back to them but I had to pay for the shipping myself. I understand that if I had made a mistake in my selection I would be responsible to pay to ship. But clearly there was an issue with the order when they did not even have my address that I filled out.

I don't leave reviews on anything... Ever! But my recent experience with this establishment was profoundly refreshing to say the least. I purchased an end loaded Louisville Slugger super Z. Literally within one hour of my purchase, a representative from Closeout bats we shall call "Max", called my cell phone and left a message to call him. Naturally, I thought it was a salesperson or solicitor of some sort. But, after listening to the voice mail 15 or 16 times, I realized he was saying "closeout bats". I called back and "Max" informed me that the end loaded super Z were currently out of stock but that they did have a balanced super Z in the length and weight I had chosen. After careful deliberation of about 56 seconds, I decided that balanced would do just fine and he would ship as soon as possible. They very easily could've sent me a letter or email informing me of the setback which would have delayed the arrival of said bat. Very happy camper because of it and just wanted to let you guys know, you guys are frickin studs and I will be bringing more business your way soon....

I've been purchasing baseball equipment and accessories from Roy's Closeout Bats for years, exceptional prices and quality products. Service is excellent and the indoor cage to demo bats is awesome. No complaints. Purchased a bat over the winter for my son. Loved the demo, but the bat made it through less than half the season before it cracked. Never had to return a bat before but heard it was a process - mail to company, wait for mail response, etc. Not at Closeout Bats - I showed up with the bat, my receipt and my warranty. The 2018 model was out of stock so they handed over the 2019 model with a free lizard skin grip, no questions asked. Took the other bat off my hands. Exceptional service. These are expensive bats, too. As long as I purchase baseball equipment, it will be from "Roy's", and I'll refer...
