Ordered a large lunch for my corporate office. The man we spoke to on the phone was incredibly rude the entire time we placed the order. Evidently, he was also the same one who delivered to us. No hello or anything when he showed up, just angrily told me he has a lot of stuff to bring in when I offered to help and hold the door open for him. We found out after he left that there was a small cheese pizza missing. I called the place and they basically called me a liar because they packaged the cheese pizza but there was only one that was delivered, not two. They then said theyâll make a fresh one and have it delivered shortly. It unfortunately was the same man from before and his attitude was worse than ever. He was incredibly rude towards me and basically lied to cover himself that they only received an order for one pizzaâI showed him on the receipt that we were charged for two and he quickly blamed it on the staff. Not sure if he is the owner or upper management but we will never order from here again and we paid a LOT of money for this food. I advise buying from here if youâre thinking about itâhorrible...
Read moreTheir pizza & food is amazing! BUT I don't order from them often for one BIG reason. The service is so impolite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Called to order delivery about 5 minutes away towards Hartford and got "we don't go that way anymore" and hung up on. Called another time to order 5 minutes away the other direction in Rocky Hill, and I got, "Next time we won't deliver there any more we don't go that way." Then where do you go? Called in last night to pick up and surprisingly got a very nice girl on the phone (very strange considering the usual phone calls). Came in early to pick up order and got one of the most rude people at the counter in a hairnet. I added a salad to my order because I was about 10 minutes early to pick up my order and she gave me nothing but dirty looks and rude remarks. Such a shame that their attitude can't be as decent...
Read morePhenomenal pizza from a family run local fixture. It reminds me of Bloomfield NJ where my mother grew up, and Everything was Italian: Small seating area, simple storefront, absolutely nothing pretentious about it. You can hear the minor arguments from the open kitchen which again remind me of my Italian family from NJ. Itâs all atmosphere. Half the people coming in to pick up takeout are known first name by the staff âAnthony! How are you? What is it tonight? I heard your granddaughter did good last week in soccerâ that sort of thing. I wonât get technical about the food, Iâve cooked in restaurants on both coasts, Iâll just say one of the two finest Italian restaurants in central CT, maybe all of CT. Just go, donât dress up, itâs not that kind of place. If the formica booths arenât your thing, order out, I beg you for your...
