Call them up for a pick up! I order a lomo saltado for the first time at this restaurant which I never new it existed but since âEl Marinoâ was to lazy to get my order 5 minutes before 8pm when in the website it says they close at 9pm....this restaurant show up and I decided to call them up and give them a try..... This restaurant charge me $17.50 for a lomo saltado and a Inca soda, I gave the guy 18.00 in cash and never got back my 50cents change when he has said that if I paid with a credit card he had to charge me taxes, anyway when I open the bag I notice there was only a small container of spicy sauce along with the food and had to ask for a fork and nife to eat the food. (Chinese do better service for pick ups putting everything u need to eat your food) I was disappointed when I tasted it cause it was just dry and not so good I only ate a quarter of it and put it away hopefully my dog will eat it but thinking about it I wouldnât want to punish my dog with that dry food even tho my dog food is dry. I think I do a better cooking on a lomo saltado to be honest and to really be honest âEl Marinoâ has the best lomo saltado in my opinion from any other restaurants Iâve been to. The person that took care of me said they are the best, that his restaurant pops up first since it has 5 stars and that there chicken a la brasa is the best that it taste like the ones from the Peruvian restaurants in Paterson (Iâve been to âEl Chevereâ and still come back to âEl Marinoâ) I will still go back to them just to try the chicken maybe is better than what I order today but today was just not my day with their lomo saltado it was not something that I can say wow!!!!!!! Also I paid to much....!!!!! the menu says is $13.00 for a lomo saltado so since they charge me $17.50 then the soda must be $4.50!!!! Thatâs...
Read moreI love this place and recommend it. It feels like home. Their food has this natural home made taste. The owner says he uses natural ingredients and condiments and it feels like it.
The menu is varied and the price is right. The best thing is "mom and pop" the owners/attendants. This couple is so passionate about their place, their food, their attention to the customers. I wish them success and hopefully they can keep up...
Read moreFood is below par to Ok. Tried dinner it was ok, then tried their Tamales. It was dry, one small portion of pork, no egg, no olive or other ingredients that need to be part of a tamal. The salsa criolla had the awful smell of onion and mixed with old & new. Didnât bother trying it. I would not recommend...
