Denny's — Restaurant in Wheat Ridge

The manager here was very rude rushing us as we ordered so bad going as far as cutting off my friend "is that all" before he even finished ordering.. "Yeah that isn't it".. what seemed like forever she finally brought out our food.. Some things were cold.. She forgot other items and yet again was very rude when asked about the them.. I had to actually get up and go grab hot sauce for myself from an empty table because she never came back to check on us.. I finished the main plate of my lumberjack slam and was ready to move on to my pancakes can you guess what she didn't bring us yup the syrup.. She finally comes out of the kitchen walking right past our table going to the table directly behind us. It was busy so lots of people talking I said "excuse me" she looks over and acknowledged saying "I'll be right with you.. Finished with that table and walks away going to the total opposite side of the restaurant when she was right next to us.. Had the nerve to come back and tell me I didn't have to yell at her.. If I was yelling more then her would have noticed not to mentiontou were just at the next table so why would i have to yell?? I ask to see the manager and she informed me she was the manager lol so I informed her that her service was lacking professionalism and plain out sucks.. I will never return to this location nor do i recommend it to anyone else... Go somewhere else and save yourself the time, money and frustration until this manager gets her act together... Around 930 am 5/21 is when we dined in.. I hope someone speakes to this woman teaching her some manners and proper customer service etiquette.. I usually really like this place and I've been there about once a month at least for the last few months and everything has always been great but this night I wound up not even eating my meal. Now the waitress kept telling all the customers around me she was new so now I could have some sympathy but she got my order wrong she apologized several times to the cook but never to me fine whatever she was busy so I finally got the right meal but she had left my side dish on the table which was now cold and I had asked for no gravy on my potatoes which seemed like I got the same plate with the same potatoes with the gravy scrapped off the top at this point I figured I'd go home and just make my own and take the steak with me so I asked for a to go box and mentioned it was supposed to come with bread. She came back didn't say a word threw the box on the table then brought the bread and check and didn't say a word to me and walked away that was the last I saw of her. Now I could understand if I was being rude or just a pain in the butt which I wasn't I know those ladies work hard I even left her a 20%tip but had she been a bit nicer about her mistake she would have gotten more! She was just flat out rude to me for no reason because she didn't write it down and she screwed up then apologizing to the cook several times just killed me! I will go back eventually but will definitely ask for a different waitress if I get her which I have never done before! But I work hard for my money also and flat out wasted $20 for food I didn't even want to eat...

My family and I came in this afternoon and apparently our waitress was just not in a good mood or is just generally like that towards Hispanic people. Middle aged, Caucasian, wears two claw clips in her hair and about 5’7. From the moment we sat down her attitude was just hard to ignore. My grandma & great grandma both asked for decaf coffee. It came out cold (which happens if a pot has been sitting for a few hrs), no big deal. She proceeded to tell us, she was would brew another pot. Kid you not, 30 mins goes by and still not decaf coffee. So my dad asked about it from my grandmas, and she makes a smart comment “yeah I told you it’s brewing!” I work in the restaurant industry and a pot of coffee doesn’t take that long to brew. In all honestly, that’s a sign she forgot to do it in general. Next my dad had a question about a special they had, and she proceeded to not even look my dad in the eyes, and straight up point at the menu. No “oh yeah the deal is” or “let me tell you about that” just straight pointed at it like my dad was dumb.

Once our food was dropped off at the table, she disappeared and was nowhere to be found. And no checking back on us if we needed anything else or how our food was. The food was great and no issues there! But after that we didn’t see her the rest of our dining experience. We sat with plates for so long waiting for our tab, and finally went up to the front to ask to pay.
