I bought a cricut item a week ago-I realized when I got home it actually wasn’t the item I needed. I put in my car and finally got to return it today. The manager refused to do a return stating there was a sign in the shop saying they don’t accept cricut returns. When I got to my car, I looked at my receipt and it says returns are prohibited on cricut items if the customer has opened the box or doesn’t have the original receipt. I never opened the box-therefore the item is completely unused. I also had the original receipt. The manager still refused to accept the return, saying the sign says they won’t accept returns on it. I went back and looked at the sign. I took a picture and showed her my receipt and the sign. She repeated “I’m not going to accept it”. If I used it or opened the box that would be one thing because the signs did say that disqualifies the item from a Return but I hadn’t opened it at all and had the original receipt from 6 days earlier. Only giving two stars cuz the assistant manager was helpful and stated as long as i had the box unopened, he would accept the return.

Bob in the framing department went above and beyond to help me frame a gift for my husband!! He was personable, very skilled, and got the job done quickly while still paying attention to detail. Buying a pre-made standard frame off the shelf (often 50% off!) and then having a framing employee measure and cut a custom mat is such a great way to take your prints to the next level for a great price. For reference, this 11x14 frame was on sale for $15 and the custom cut mat and framing including adding a wire to hang was a whopping $8 and took maybe 30min. Such a great deal!

This is a relatively new Hobby Lobby, you can tell by the tiles being in pristine order and brightness! No random aged tiles here, no sir! The place looks absolutely massive on the inside. With the size so big, I noticed they got more themed decor in the place, along with actual toys, not just hobby toys. Stuff like Nerf guns, and Gundam build kits. They also embraced the gamer aesthetic, with whole aisles of nerdy statements and quippy signs that are all very much Hobby Lobby themed. Place is pretty well stocked for a lot of things.

Store #891 has the worst staff ever! Normally I ignor the unprofessional hateful staff and get what I need and leave. Yesterday 3/20 we went in to purchase a matte cardboard frame for a picture of a passed fur baby, which we've purchased many other times for similar items. We instantly knew the woman working that specific area was not going to help, she ignored us and forced us to ring the bell on the counter even thought we made eye contact. We were then not met with a smile or a hi what can I help with but, rather a huge loud sigh as if we were a huge bother to her. I then asked if they can frame the picture of our passed on fur babies photo, she acted like she didn't know what I was asking for so I showed her. We were then met with her response of "Im leaving and can't help you come back another day and it will take 3-4 days. We were shocked at what she just said, I told her I've never had to wait that long and asked if I come return the next day Friday if she could do it then? I was then met with "Im leaving", I said to her yes I heard you the 1st time can someone else help me. She then got upset that she had to do her job and started asking in a very hateful tone "what do you want?" I told her dont worry about it since you are in such a hurry to leave ill go elsewhere. She then raised her voice at me telling me good and thanks. We went to the front of the store asked for a manager, told her what happened, asked that she pull video of the horrendous way we were talked to and she then says I need to get another manager. The 2nd manager came up we explained again what we experienced and I was told to call corporate or come back tomorrow and talk to yet a 3rd manager. This type of unprofessional, hateful and down right rude behavior from the managers and staff worker, is 1000% wrong!!!!! The 1st manager did acknowledge that I was a frequent shopper and did apologize but that does not make up for having told "Im leaving and can't help you!" I could see or understand if they had a sign that said Closed or if the woman working the frame section had said to us, I'm sorry I am closed but, come back tomorrow and I'll take care of you. She DID NOT! Instead she yelled at me for needing assistance from her dept that she was working in and offered ZERO HELP! I WILL DEFINITELY FIND A NEW HOBBY LOBBY AND I MOST DEFINITELY WILL BE TALKING WITH CORPORATE. I am so disgusted and disappointed in this Hobby lobby location in Wheat Ridge, this store is going down hill and fast, look at the bad reviews and so similar to my experience. DO NOT SHOP THIS STORE IF YOU WANT OR NEED ASSISTANCE, THE STAFF WILL TREAT YOU LIKE GARBAGE AND YOU'LL GET THE RUN AROUND FROM 2-3 DIFFERENT MANAGERS IF YOU COMPLAIN. Hobby lobby do better, your prices are outrageously high then to have your staff treat your shoppers like total garbage...

JUDGE MUCH??? I will NEVER shop here again. From the moment I walked in, I was being watched. Maybe I'm making assumptions.... Possibly??? I really don't think so. Every section of the store I was in, there stood the majority of staff standing there with their arm's folded.....one man just stared me down, maybe he was the so called manager. I was all over that store, front to back and every time I turned around, there they stood, staring, watching me the entire time I was inside. I was there for quite a while trying to find something. Perhaps try doing your job and helping a PAYING CUSTOMER out??? No, instead they made me feel uncomfortable and somewhat anxious. I should have just left at the first arms folded and eye stare from the staff. I thought you were a Christian based store??? But, after the ridiculous over head announcement regarding Wheat Ridge Police and then coming up front to PAY for my items and witnessing half the staff come up at the same time and again, stand there staring with arm's folded rather rudely I might add, I've definitely decided, you're no Christian. I can only come to this conclusion based on the fact that everywhere I was, the posse followed, right down to me out the door. You are so lucky you didn't cross the line and ask to see my backpack. I was SO HOPING YOU WOULD DARE!!! Unfortunately you do have a brain. Never judge a book by it's cover. I don't steal and I probably have more money than your entire staff put together. Don't worry however, I can definitely spend my money somewhere else because the way you made me feel was not the christian thing to do. You think you're something special???? Why don't you try actually working instead of getting half your staff to watch one person who IS NOT DOING ANYTHING WRONG!! I DID DO SOMETHING WRONG, I DECIDED TO SHOP AT HOBBY LOBBY IN APPLEWOOD VILLAGE. I will never make that...

If I could give a lower rating I would! One of the most disrespectful stores I think I have ever had the misfortune of visiting . So I was waiting for a prescription to fill at the king soopers a couple of stores down and decided I would go see what hobby lobby had on sale . From the time I entered the store until the time I exited the store i was followed by a manager who frantically ran from aisle to aisle to keep up with me and then announced over the loudspeaker that there was a call waiting from wheatridge P.D. ..being one of the only people In The Store i was extremely embarassed and even more so when i went to exit the store only to have a ln employee waiting at the exit doors who then radio'd informing them i was leaving the store !!!!! Unbelievable!!! While all of this is going on a friend of mine enters the store who happens to be a tattoo artist and has quite a bit of visible tattoos and they began to chase him around the store and he was just trying to use the restroom!!! This store profiles its patrons so if you don't look like a "christian" be prepared to be treated like a criminal!!!! I will NEVER EVER EVER enter this store or any of its affiliate stores again and I'm also placing a call to their corporate office! How dare you profile me hobby lobby! I'm a tax paying citizen justice like everyone else ..I'll be shopping at michaels from now on and if u have tattoos I recommend you...
