China Wok — Restaurant in Wheeling

We drive from Pa to get our Chinese food from here and we have always been very pleased with everything, until today, we placed an order for 2 moo goo hai pan and it was not what we have gotten in the past, we ordered 1 general Tao’s chicken all with fried rice , we also ordered the chicken lo Mein and the noodles were orange and nothing had it’s usually flavor, we had an order of the cheese wonton and they were over cooked and barely had anything in them. Once a 4-star, now a 3-star.

This hole in the wall Chinese Restaurant has good food quality and an excellent staff; however, over the past year a significant change in food portions has occurred. I have notice that before, there was a 50/50 (give or take) ratio between the rice and meat/seafood. Now, there is closer to a 70/30, leaning toward the rice of course.

They got our pickup order wrong. No one answered the phone after 15-20 minutes of calling from their parking lot, and knocking on the pick up window. Once they responded via Messenger they had a lot of excuses (like if you were dining inside the issue wouldn't have happened🙄😳) and did not own that they did not provide something we paid for. There was also someone else in the parking lot trying to get hold if them to no avail. They told us we should have kept trying to get someone. How long were we supposed to keep trying.
