If I could give negative stars, I would. My wife and I visited the Wheeling Wv location through the drive-thru around 8 p.m. and placed a simple order: two small Blizzards and a small vanilla ice cream in a cup. The experience started off well, as the female employee kindly offered lids and a carrier, which we appreciated and accepted. However, things quickly went downhill. The male employee handed us the two Blizzards, but there were no lids or carrier. He then started to give us a vanilla ice cream in a cup with sprinkles, which was not what we ordered. I politely corrected him, letting him know we just wanted plain vanilla ice cream. He glanced at the female employee and walked away without addressing the mistake. She eventually brought us the correct item, but when we asked for the lids she had initially offered, her response was completely unprofessional. She laughed in our faces, handed us the lids, and casually mentioned they were short on staff. I'm not sure how being short-staffed justifies poor customer service, but I was shocked by her dismissive attitude. This experience was disappointing and frustrating. 20 minute wait in line in drive through get to the speaker they say 15 minute wait for vanilla ice cream. Not happy but say okay I'll wait because I just wasted 20 minutes anyways get to the window she takes my money I wait AT THE WINDOW for 16 minutes (huge line behind us and inside)she comes back to the window gives me a milk shake (made with vanilla ice cream) it's completely water consistency says well if you want your other items it's going to be be a bit of a wait or we can do it with chocolate ice cream. We don't want chocolate ice cream do you know how much more longer the "bit of a wait" will be she has complete attitude and says mmmmmm IDK I said ok just refund me because we're working on 40 minutes in this drive thru she gets the manager I wait another TEN minutes to get my money back. INSANE.

I think the owner needs to really Crack down on the childish drive thru/young employees immature supervisors during the evening hours and weekends. I'm a daily/weekly customer, Especially when I bring 2 baseball teams all the time, Everytime when it's 1 hour to close the past 3 weeks it's always, "sorry 20 min wait for vanilla." How disgusting is it when they say that and you say you'll wait and then pull up and then hand it out in liquid, or be ignorant when you say "that's fine we can wait." 10x I've been there with the kids they have said 20min wait 8 outta 10x. This is very sad. When this is the only year since 2016 have I ever heard that, especially a DQ that doesn't have a grill. South Wheelings DQ's manager wouldn't ever have tolerance with the childish ignorance to the customers. Talk to people on a mic in foreign language and then laugh so hard on the mic.
