Give this shop a try, their drinks are seriously AMAZE-BALLZ!!! The barista I encountered the first time that I went [last year], was rather rude, but the other 2 I've since interacted with were both friendly and kind. The first two times that I went, I got vanilla lattes [cuz I'm boring], and they were both fantastic! Then, just last week, I went and got a legit london fog latte for the very first time (earl grey tea w/ bergamot, vanilla, & steamed milk) and OMFGGG! I make my own london fogs at home all the time, but had been wanting to try a real one from an actual coffee/tea place, and man oh man, it was literally mind-blowing! It was even better than their coffee, and their coffee is already really damn good!

I obnoxiously wanted a coffee very close to closing time and when I called to see if they'd still make me one he graciously said yes. Unfortunately I had trouble finding a parking spot but when I called back to let him know I was giving up he offered to run my coffee out to my car for me. I was honestly blown away by how considerate that was and again basically at closing time at this point. He and the other people that work there are always friendly, conversational and make great coffee. Moonshot also donated to the free dental day I hosted at my office when other neighborhood companies didn't. All in all they seem like a wonderful company with great drinks and baked goods. Thanks for being part of our neighborhood!
Update: everyone who works there is...

They use and sell coffee beans from Olympia Coffee Roasting company, which has pretty good coffee (if you ever decide to stop by Olympia) and offers something unique compared to other local coffee shops. They also use Theo chocolates for some of their specialty drinks. Normal coffee options are on the pricey side ($3.25 or $3.50 for espresso, $2.50 for drip), but they have a lot of seasonal specialty drinks (lattes, espresso-based mochas, etc.) which are creative, very tasty without being too sugary, and reasonably priced (~$5).
The baristas are nice, skilled, and considerate. The only bad thing I can say about them is that I'm not sure if their cups and lids are compostable, but given everything else they have to offer, I can look past that. I would...
