Give this shop a try, their drinks are seriously AMAZE-BALLZ!!! The barista I encountered the first time that I went [last year], was rather rude, but the other 2 I've since interacted with were both friendly and kind. The first two times that I went, I got vanilla lattes [cuz I'm boring], and they were both fantastic! Then, just last week, I went and got a legit london fog latte for the very first time (earl grey tea w/ bergamot, vanilla, & steamed milk) and OMFGGG! I make my own london fogs at home all the time, but had been wanting to try a real one from an actual coffee/tea place, and man oh man, it was literally mind-blowing! It was even better than their coffee, and their coffee is already really damn good!

Huge shout out to Logan, one of the best and friendliest baristas around! I obnoxiously wanted a coffee very close to closing time and when I called to see if they'd still make me one he graciously said yes. Unfortunately I had trouble finding a parking spot but when I called back to let him know I was giving up he offered to run my coffee out to my car for me. I was honestly blown away by how considerate that was and again basically at closing time at this point. He and the other people that work there are always friendly, conversational and make great coffee. Moonshot also donated to the free dental day I hosted at my office when other neighborhood companies didn't. All in all they seem like a wonderful company with great drinks and baked goods. Thanks for being part of our neighborhood!

Update: everyone who works there is...

Really cute place. They're open during the pandemic of '20. They use and sell coffee beans from Olympia Coffee Roasting company, which has pretty good coffee (if you ever decide to stop by Olympia) and offers something unique compared to other local coffee shops. They also use Theo chocolates for some of their specialty drinks. Normal coffee options are on the pricey side ($3.25 or $3.50 for espresso, $2.50 for drip), but they have a lot of seasonal specialty drinks (lattes, espresso-based mochas, etc.) which are creative, very tasty without being too sugary, and reasonably priced (~$5).

The baristas are nice, skilled, and considerate. The only bad thing I can say about them is that I'm not sure if their cups and lids are compostable, but given everything else they have to offer, I can look past that. I would...

This Little coffee house has been here through everything. The coffee and staff are great. They carry a great variety of products. From wine to fun local beer selection as well as something I've not seen here in Seattle. The wine preservE gas. This is a gas used for keeping oxygen from oxidizing your wine. I have had open gassed bottle in my cabinet for over a month & they are still great. This is the same gas we used in the winery on our tanks and this works great. So check this fun little shop out. Super cute place, very nice people. The coffee is good but if you like Starbucks style drinks, this isn't the place for you. If you like coffee for what it is and want it treated right, this is where you should go. The baked goods are awesome and seem to be in limited supply so get them while you can! I've lived in Burien for a year and usually just go for whatever drive thru coffee is around but I'm glad I stopped in on this "Small Business Saturday" to help support this great little White Center gem.

Moonshot Coffee is one of my favorite spots in White Center. They have a good selection of tea, and great coffee as well. The baristas are super nice and even will know you on a first name basis if you come there enough. This place is small and hip with lots of friendly plants, local art, and natural light. I enjoy getting work done there because it’s so well-lit. There’s a wide selection of pastries. If you’re vegan like I am, then the packaged cookies are your only option for food.
