I happened upon this shop last weekend with a friend due to how charming it looked from the outside, despite not really being a plant person. The owner is friendly & knowledgeable about the care & keeping of all of the plants in the store. I was amazed by the variety of plants & related products they carry- in particular, the laser-carved wooden hanging planters were beautiful, completely unique, & skillfully handmade by the owner. Once again, NOT a plant person, I can't keep most plants alive to save my life, although I love admiring the hardwork & care that goes into keeping them. I did end up leaving with a snake plant with an assurance from the owner that it is a hardy plant & easy to care for; I am very happy with it & the beautiful planter it came with. They have a vast quantity of air plants & many styles of planters that suit them available in store, for those interested. I really loved the hanging plant near the window; It was hung from within an urchin skeleton to give it the likeness of a jellyfish, if I was more confident in my quality of care, I would've purchased it. My sister and I had a day of exploring plant shops and we made our way to this one from Puyallup. It's a good example of a hidden gem! The owner was so friendly, engaging and it's obvious he has such a passion for his job. He let us know his wife paints all of the pots and he also creates a lot of their other products. An amazing perk is that the plant you pick, which is already in a painted pot with drainage, comes with the pot and a bottom pan! And the prices are very reasonable, even if it didn't come with the pot. The owner also shared with us that they do all their own propagation and raising of the plants which we LOVED. We went to 4 nurseries that day and this was one of my faves and a new go-to for me. I've already told my friends we need to go. It's such a cute shop with gorgeous plants & wonderfully independently owned. Great addition to the plant community!
