This place simply never disappoints. I've been here several times now over the last couple of years, and have been pleased with the results every single time. They will occasionally be short an item -especially later in the day, though rarely- but there are plenty of fall-back choices that are just enticing. Great selection of meats, both land and sea, prepared to order.

This evening specifically, I had a torta de cabeza. Possibly the best I've had in the Seattle area. The roll was substantial enough to contain the fillings, but was not overly bready as some are. Delicious bread that was borderline pastry-like. Good balanced amount of vegetable toppings, but the cabeza (beef cheek. If not familiar, think pot roast of the Gods) was utterly outstanding. Stewed just right, not overcooked to a falling apart state, then finished on a nice, hot plancha, so the meat stayed moist and tender while some of the meat and fat got good and crispy.

My friend had the lengua verde, which is what I wanted! But, since he's visiting from out of town, he got first choice. I didn't try it (I don't know why! I was too busy with that awesome torta, I guess) but he spent his whole meal swooning over it.

Seems like a simple thing, but both their red and green salsas are outstanding. Distinctive, well-balanced and flavorful. The red is spicier than most, the green not quite as much. They're both so good, it's hard to not eat too many chips just so you can eat more salsa.

Even for a neighborhood in our region with a high concentration of really good Mexican food, this place really does stand out as one of the best. Every time I eat here I always walk away asking myself why I don't eat...

Good food,good friendly customer service. Good easy to understand menu. Reasonable prices. But the food, and the service was much much better when the big owner used to be working inside the kitchen years ago.

food takes a very long time to come out of the kitchen after you place your order. So prepare your self to wait for a very long time more than 30 minutes every time.,on a regular base

Highly recommend call & order food before coming,even for dine in

The wait time is so very bad, especially to come get a lunch during lunch break. Lunch break time will be wasted on just waiting for lunch, and the food still not come out of the kitchen

Parking lot is small

Surrounding area is very tough, not good to park nice cars too far. Cover your belongings inside your car if parked car out...

Fantastic food best chicken ever!!!! And salsa! They open at 11am. All there food is yummy. Best to order ahead. This location also has a carneceria just on the other side. Plenty of options and variety of goodies. They do have indoor dinning but only 2 tables are open to sit at. It's a small dinning room. There is a bathroom for paying customers only. $1.50 for non customers. All staff uses gloves and masks. They have a colorful selection of masks available for purchase as well. The staff is bilingual and very friendly. It always smells so good in there. They also have Agua Fresca. Bottle drinks are also available I don't think they have fountain drinks.
