WARNING! Do not recommend Colton’s to anyone! Save your money and go to a Texas Roadhouse. This was my wife and I’s first time at Colton’s Steak House and Grill. Traveling through Arkansas and we were craving steak so looked up the closest steakhouses and Colton’s popped up. We’ve never been here before and took the chance. Definitely won’t make that mistake again. First Point - J.T.'s Charbroiled Lonesome Burger A juicy charbroiled burger served with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion….. so we thought. We received a Lonesome Burger that was really lonesome, so lonesome that it came without lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and onion. We did not request our lonesome burger to be lonely but received a lonely burger. - wives burger needless to say she was not a happy camper. Second Point - Strawberry Salad was pretty good. Third Point - Country Fried Steak. Was meh at best gravy was peppery but I’d rather go to Dairy Queen and order their 6 piece chicken tender meal with their country gravy for $8 vs a soft fried rubber mat that costs $13.59. loaded potato soup was horrid. I understand a soup is a liquid but the potato soup literally had no viscosity. Fourth Point - Bread felt like it was under a heat lamp the whole day. Hard and dry. Last and not least the 16oz Ribeye that’s $32.99 was good but not worth the price. Surprisingly the cut of steak was not too bad and actually seasoned well, actually the only thing we had that was seasoned. Also had the sautéed mushrooms that tasted like who ever sautéed the mushrooms sautéed them in Worcestershire sauce and only Worcestershire sauce. Mushrooms were over cooked and limp. Also added a loaded baked potato and it just felt old. The potato itself was not seasoned at all and just felt old. There was no softness to the potato at all and felt like it was microwaved. Alrighty so like I said in the beginning. Save your money and go somewhere else. Definitely was a lesson learned. Every item we chose from the menu was overpriced for the quality that we received and won’t be coming back. Don’t forget the lonesome burger is a lonely burger. That doesn’t come with toppings. Thanks for basking in our journey at Colton’s and if you’ve read the entire review! Thank you, Safe travels and more reviews to come!

My daughter wanted to have a girl's day out with me and my foster daughter so we went to Colton's Steak House and Grill. The experience was terrible!!! The food's taste was just basic and the service was very slow despite there not being many customers there. One of the worst things that happened was there was a fly on one of the plates that came with the appetizer! The girl's food was overcooked and hard. We talked to the manager about the situations. The girl's resolved their issues, but the manager didn't want to do anything about the fly. She said that it wasn't in the food and I was brought a new plate so that's all that could be done. I took her picture and she didn't like that so she let my ticket plop to the table, but my kids told me that she threw their tickets at them before she rushed off! She should have thrown my ticket only since she was mad at me, but it would have been another situation had she done so. We were livid! We paid our bill and left before another negative situation happened. I don't know who owns Colton's, but you better get your manager in line. I believe her name is Samantha and here is her picture.

Over priced and greasy. We both had the TJ Burger and wished we had gone somewhere else. Mine made me nauseous from so much grease, and I could only eat half of it. It dripped grease all over the plate, which congealed. The burger tasted okay, but definitely not the best (David’s Burgers at Exit 128 on I-30 has the best). For my side, I ordered the fries, which were steak fries. They were okay, but there was too much grease for me to eat many. The server brought a fresh burger, but I had to ask for paper napkins and soak up the grease. My stomach was too queasy so I asked for a takeout box. The server didn’t bring new fries (or even ask if I wanted a different side). We had water with lemon (which the server brought a dish of sliced lemon), and the server never asked if we wanted refills (which worked out since the water tasted nasty). The yeast rolls were good. They were served with butter, as well as some honey. The burgers were over $10.00 each (ribeyes were over $25.00 for a 12 oz), and definitely not worth it.

I will start with something positive, our waitress was amazing and did all she could to help our experience. So, WE DID NOT enjoy our experience. First it took 2 hours to get our food. Yes, we waited patiently because we read reviews prior to going. The drinks from the bar were not good, my Old Fashion was weakened with water, more than what's required. Realizing that I am accustom to this drink and not everyone makes them the same, I ordered a Long Island. It was just as horrible as the Old Fashion. When we received the appetizer, spanich dip, it was COLD. Having already ordered our meal, we waited and waited. When the Hawaiian Rib Eyes came to the table they were COLD and over cooked. We asked for medium and got WELL. The Salmon was COLD; the only thing that came out hot was the fried Okra. Oh, did I mention, they didn't bring out the rest of the order even after being told what we were missing. At this point, I became very upset and asked for a manager. Now, I am not one to ever ask for my check to be adjusted, we order the food and I was going to pay for it. Once I shared our experience with the manager, she did apologize and shared they had been without food warmer since before 4 p.m., when she came on duty. To make matters even worse, she only credited our ticked for the dip and one side. Mind you, she shared and knew they were serving COLD FOOD to paying customers. Maybe I am wrong, but why were they serving COLD FOOD for over 4 hours? They NEVER informed anyone of this issue, from what I could tell, and why was the kitchen still open. If I knew this prior, we would have order something different, like a salad or have gone elsewhere. If you can't serve people warm to hot food, your kitchen SHOULDN'T be open. There is so much more I could say, but I choose not too. I am a very upset customer and I only wanted to have a nice meal with my family. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! To our waitress, thank you for being gracious and serving with pride...

I must say not all Colton’s are created equally. My husband and I usually dine at the Colton’s in Searcy and we have never had a bad meal there the steak is always cooked perfectly and so tinder. The absolute best steak I have ever had and we tried a ton of steak restaurants. Since we were in town and noticed a Colton’s In the area we decided to dine in. I must say first the waitress was super nice as well as the greeters. The restaurant wasn’t that busy but it took a super long time to get out food, we actually arrived before the rush hour traffic so we were not expecting it to take as long. Even with that put aside we were still ok. But once we got our meal we noticed a difference in the steak quality compared to other first my husband and I asked for medium well and we got well done. The steak was like cutting through rubber. It was burnt and didn’t taste well. I also ordered a 12 0z and my husband a 16 oz they me for a 16 oz. When I brought it to the server’s attention I was told they could make me another one. Mind you we had already had to wait a long time for the food we had ordered and I certainly wasn’t willing to wait any longer. I even called and brought it to the manager’s attention and was just told I am so sorry to hear that. The right thing to do would have been to credit me the difference. Heck they could have even taken the steak back as I did not even eat most of it. We spend thousands at Colton’s and we’re not looking for anything for free just good quality service when something isn’t right. Just telling a customer I am sorry does not make me want to come back. We spent well over $100 and also made sure we tipped our server 20% as it was not her fault and that’s what we always do. I would have liked a little more willingness to make it right. A courtesy gift card anything. Asking a customer to wait when they have already waited over an hour is not good service. A+ for good atmosphere , A+ to the server, F- for...
