Dairy Queen of White Oak — Restaurant in White Oak

I liked the retro feel look of the restaurant. Service was good. For dq food, I’ve had better.. they put olives and onions on the deluxe nacho, I wasn’t aware it went on that!

Add On Recent: I went to order an Oreo blizzard cake. I picked up and the icing wasn’t the same as it used to be. Usually it’s whipped and is was buttercream:( which is way too sweet. Also the icing writing didn’t look nice, this was the worst birthday ice cream I’ve ever ordered. It BARELY had Oreo blizzard in it.. we order dq ice cream cakes 2x a year. And I hated wasting money here and it not being up to how it usually is. I’m Posting past ice cream cakes we’ve received from other dq locations vs the one we picked up from here. (You can definitely recognize which cake was sloppy) I am so unhappy about this.

3/19/25, I got busy and forgot to leave a new review. We had our dog and decided to do the drive thru. I got my usual steak fingers and he got the chicken tenders. The fries were under cooked, the chicken had been sitting and dried out. The steak fingers weren't fresh and cold. We couldn't eat half of it. This location went down hill and it's sad.

I order the steak fingers basket, husband gets the chicken sandwich. It usually is really hot and fresh for the fingers and the sandwich gets thrown together. I drive from Longview to this location for they are better. Today the fingers tasted old. I know they get busy but please hire more people for the kitchen to ensure the food is prepared properly and are as fresh as possible. No one enjoys things that taste old or if the sandwich is just a mess from...

Ordered 4 piece chicken strip basket and 3 cones. We were handed 3 cones and waited for the rest. We waited and waited until rudely asked "can I help you with something" in the rudest condescending tone. I said yeah we are waiting on the meal we ordered, you know the one we handed you money for and paid for. 3 incompetent faces looking back puzzled as if they didn't even know they were at work. They grab a food tray that has been set in the window for over 4 mins that the lady who took our order looked at no fewer that 4 times, we ordered to go BTW. She lied and said they had just sat it up there.. The stranger next to me said on nooo that's cold.. The manager was one of the 3 confused looking girls, she was leaned up on the register looking uninterested and half there. No help, one...
