I could not brag enough about this donut shop I mean from the food freshness to the quality of customer service! The best hands down! They are always friendly and welcoming I love the fact that it’s a mom and pop donut shop I have been coming here for the past 5 years and the level of success they have achieved I feel like I’m part of the family! Their son that helps on weekends and before he goes to school I can not believe the level of commitment this family pours into this community and to their business I’m sorry for someone to come on here and complain about a KID being rude let alone half of this country that isn’t even WORKING goes to show you how poor this country is becoming. I am ashamed for the person to even write a review complaining about a child. Roughneck Donut has the best small kolaches in the entire world.

That may sound like some cliche exaggeration. It is not. I refused to believe it myself for the last seven years. In every city I have lived/visited I have tried the best kolaches it has to offer. None deserve to even share the name. I walked through rain, sleet, and snow in the likes of Boston, New York City, D.C., Houston, Dallas, and Austin seeking—but never finding—a better kolache. I have driven an hour out of my way to try some slanderous “world’s best” kolache. Dust. I have walked the earth barren in my hubris, refusing to believe that the best kolaches in the world are sold in this 6000-person town of White Oak, Texas. I have been a fool. Very very disappointed at this place. The staff is so INCREDIBLY rude. I continue to try and give them the benefit of the doubt but I don’t think I’ve been there once is the last year without them being out of something or missing something from our order. When I got back in they will just stand there without assisting. When I asked for my missed order the woman made a snarky comment to me. We live in the area and this place used to be great. But the donuts are just okay and with how bad the service is, I’d rather drive to town to get any donuts rather than deal with such poor behavior and bad customer service.
