This restaurant is so bad, they should call it something other than Pizza Plus!!! Pizza Minus?? I've been in several Pizza Plus locations & this falls so far short of their standards, it's hard to believe it's a part of the fold. My sister & I stopped for lunch. When we walked in, there was a woman working the counter who was talking to someone she knew across the counter. She looked away from him to ask if we were having the buffet. We asked the price of the salad bar. The woman stated it was $10+ for the buffet which included the salad bar. The other locations I've visited have a price for just the salad bar & a price for everything. We agreed to the buffet. She asked if we had a pizza we would like to have put on the buffet. My sister requested ground beef & bacon. I asked for the California chicken. The woman explained specialty pizzas could not be ordered for the buffet, but I could pay separately for one. The only pizzas that were available for the buffet were 3 toppings or less. The California chicken pizza I requested has sauce 1, chicken 2, cheese 3. NOPE! I heard another customer order 3 meats on a pizza for the buffet. The pizza also had sauce & cheese. Yet I couldn't order a 1 topping pizza!! My sister & I had salads first. There was no spinach which is my preferred salad base. There was no broccoli, no peas - so disappointing. Next, we went to get pizza. There were several pizzas with one or 2 slices on the pan. I selected 2 different slices. On both, the cheese on the edges had become hard because it was so long under the lights. As we were getting ready to leave, the woman brought out a cart full of pizzas & started putting them out. She commented to a man getting pizza that she didn't realize there was so little pizza left on the buffet. I had not been to a Pizza Plus where customers got their own beverages & were not notified when their choice of pizza was placed on the buffet, but that appeared to be the norm here. Read moreI ordered a large thin crust pepperoni pizza with bread sticks. Waited over an hour and fifteen minutes for a cold, undercooked regular crust supreme pizza and cold bread sticks.
I called before receiving my food to ask where the order was at. I was told they were short handed - understandable. I have worked fast food and I understand how stressful some evenings can be. However, I do expect my food to be correct.
I called three other times within an hour to speak with a manager. Turns out the manager was also my delivery driver and the person on the phone had no idea when she would be back. After asking to be contacted I have not heard a word back. I do not understand why it is so incredibly hard to contact a manager.
Keep in mind I'm only 5 minutes away from the restaurant. It should not be this difficult to order a meal and have it delivered to your home hot, fresh and correct.
This is the second time in a row I have placed an order and received an undercooked pizza.
I also told the delivery driver/manager they could have a $5 tip. Instead she kept $8. If I knew my driver was a manager I wouldn't have given a tip as managers are not supposed to accept them.
If you're that understaffed and have this amount of trouble executing your orders then you might as well close your doors for the day. No sense in causing your business more damage and losing yet another customer.
From now on I'll just go next door to White Pine Pizza. It's always hot, it's always correct and I can actually get ahold of someone.

Read moreCame in to the white pine pizza plus, and I was currently their only customer at the time. We ordered 1 large pep and a small cheese stick. We got 3 salad bars. After we ordered people began to show up for dinner. I watched the 3 different guest who arrived after us get and finish their food before we got our 1 pizza. I then watched about 7 pizzas go out the window. The server kept saying on multiple times that ours was about to go in the oven. By the time we got our pizza after 10 other people who weren't there prior to us, we were full on the salad bar. Epic fail pizza plus.
