White Pine Pizza 2 — Restaurant in White Pine

I've ordered here a couple times before and the pizza was good, no hassles, everything was right. I've heard more positive than anything about this place. However, today, I ordered the Godfather (supreme) with two of the medium cheese that go with it per their promo special. I specified no Italian sausage (my wife can't eat it) and asked that the salami and olives be put on one half (same half). I reiterated both the request for no sausage as well as the salami and olives to one half as the guy was writing the ticket. I was reading it off as I had written it to order before I went in. We got it home and opened it up...the Godfather had no sausage (good), but it was covered in black olives. I immediately called them to address the issue. I was told by the "manager" that I told them salami and mushrooms, not olives. This is wrong. I read it off as written, and repeated both requests. The manager rushed me along, stated that I could've misspoke (um, no), and said he'd try to do better next time. There was no offer of a refund or a remake. Then, my wife called. She asked the manager for the contact info of the owner (apparently, the manager's mother) and was declined in a very rude manner. She was told that since the Godfather was wrong, she should eat from the other two pizzas instead since they seem to be fine. To this she reminded them that they are a business and we are the customers and she wanted a refund or a remake. The manager began to get more rude and welcomed her to give a bad review. We will not be back, and neither will several, nay, the many, we have told about...

Decent pizza. On par with chain pizza, maybe slightly better. It's sweet spot is the price, you get quite a large pizza for $11 ($1.00 per topping). Not quite a woodfire pizza or anything fancy I wouldn't say. Cheese tasted on the cheaper side and might of been it's biggest knock. For white pine I'd say it's probably the best pizza but not on par with Michaels pizza cottage in west morristown. Jets pizza is also better. But I'd give this one the nod over pizza hut, pizza plus, dominoes... but not by much. It's not gonna blow you away but it's also not bad. Not sure where all the rave is coming from in the review section. Again, good deal for the price but taste is everything and this was average, hence the 3 stars. Nice and polite staff though. (Owners don't take this personal, it's not a knock I'm just a pretty strict grader on...

This place has the best made to order pizzas in Jefferson County. I regularly travel to White Pine from the other end of Jeff Co. to pick up their pizza. I always get a calzone and a few pizzas and it is always monstrous in size and quality. They actually use generous amounts of cheese that should be on pizza and in calzones instead of the generic bagged stuff from the supermarket. Their stuff is always cooked to perfection.

The friendliest staff around with food that NEVER disappoints. It is a hit every time I go. This IS the pizza place if you want a good pie to-go. I cannot...
