Not Lisa’s Chicken anymore!!!!! is called Tom’s Chicken (something)… This place should be closed down. I personally spotted TOO MANY food health issues. The place is gross, it looks like it’s never been clean… The ice maker has mold on the side on the inside and then the big tub where they pour the ice in looks pretty dirty too… I saw workers wearing tank tops and not a regular shirt. Only the lady at the drive thru. The door at the front when you finish come in is so disgusting, from the looks of it, i don’t think is even been cleaned before. The FOOD. Well, the chicken tenders have too many ligaments it was kinda gross having to eat it looking like that. The rolls or biscuits have no flavor nothing to taste, they’re just plain ol’ bread. The hush puppies no flavor. The ice tea is not even all that. Mash potatoes PLAIN. I have not tried the fish yet but i rather not, i think i can live with that. Someone should call the Food Health Department...
Read moreTom’s Fried Chicken delivers that classic Southern comfort food experience with hearty portions and homestyle flavor. The fried chicken is the star of the plate—crispy golden-brown batter with a satisfying crunch, yet juicy and tender inside. It’s seasoned well without being overpowering, letting the chicken shine.

What stands out most is how authentic and filling the plate feels. This isn’t fast food—it’s the kind of fried chicken that reminds you of family gatherings and small-town diners.
Without a doubt, this is the best fried chicken in Fort Worth—a must-try for locals and...
Read moreAside from the grease being old my biggest concern is that whoever is supplying their thighs are actually cutting one-third of the meat from the thigh. The thighs do not appear to be a triangle they are a rectangle, because of a portion of the dark meat being cut away before the chicken is sold to the restaurant. But even if the chicken was whole, the burnt grease make sure that it has nothing of desire. Chicken gizzards or burnt to a crisp. The amount of batter on the gizzards was 4 times as much as the gizzard. The gizzard itself, small, tough, and burnt. I had wash my hands of this Lisa's location, but decided to give it another chance 8 months ago. Everything was fine when I came back then, but I see that they reverted back to their old ways. I recommend that you go to the branch on Camp Bowie, it's only a...
