I tried to resolve these issues with the general manager via US mail; no response. I then reached out to corporate; no response. This hotel experience (March 7-9, 2023) was awful to say the least, see below: The doors were continuously slamming extremely hard/loud throughout my stay. On day two I had to wear ear plugs to dim the sound somewhat. A $100 incidental deposit was required at my check-in. The neighborhood is sketchy. I did not leave my room after sunset as people were hanging out in the parking lot. After seeing the review about cockroaches and bed bugs I slept with the lights on and wore an eye mask. Didn’t get much sleep. It’s a good thing I did have the lights on because on my last day there in the early a.m. hours I went into the bathroom to see a roach scurrying across the bare floor. I started packing right away! At that same time, I see a sheet of paper under the door. It’s my bill, of which I already paid at check-in. How tacky to slide a receipt under my door instead of handing it to me (as I did my credit card to you) when I check out at 11:00? Someone was banging on the door and yelling at 6 a.m. I called down to the front desk and no one answered. I left a message (as no one answered the phone) and later “Whitney” called back. When I told her what happened she said she didn’t see anyone on the camera at the moment but will keep an eye on it. (all she has do is review the camera and she’d see what happened). The cleaning crew were talking loudly, slamming doors repeatedly and bumping into the walls while cleaning the rooms. I asked them if they would not allow the doors to slam and was told that was not them (even though twice I heard it and looked out the door immediately and only saw them). My room and the hallways smelled musty like smoke/smelly feet/mold/dogs. The only breakfast food choices for vegans were apples and juice. The waffles were made with a watered-down batter and tasted horrible (raw, rubbery, etc.) I developed a stomachache and nausea after consuming ½ waffle. While inspecting the room after checking in, I found food particles between the mattress and box spring (pretzels) The microwave was old and rusty inside. The glass plate didn’t fit properly. The fridge control was set on 2 and still the lettuce for my meals froze and wilted. Thick dust on the alarm clock and shelves Old and worn dresser/cabinet. Broken blades on air conditioner/heater vents Walls are paper-thin. Only one elevator with 4 floors of rooms Entire building carpet needs cleaning and deodorizing. Extremely small dining area (impossible to social distance) Lamp outlets inoperable Bathroom mirror old and peeling Bathtub plugged up—standing in a puddle of dirty water while showering. Very limited channel selections and bad reception/signal on tv and wi-fi Complementary shampoo and conditioner bottles appeared to be refilled---NOT new/unopened. The only nearby mall is practically deserted/empty of stores. Housekeeping knocked loudly on my door at 9:30 a.m. on my last day to find out when I was leaving (check-out is 11:00) No hot water for shower...
Read morePlease Please Please Read!!!!! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! We were in town for the 7v7 tournament and decided to pick this hotel it was 8 mins away from the field and had an indoor pool! I typically read the reviews this time I did not! I wish I had of, because after we got checked finally after dealing with the rude front desk clerk!!! There were several reviews stating this hotel as horrible. If I could give them a negative -5 I would. Clerk at front desk was very rude. Lied to us about holding $200 for accident fee………after she saw us get out of our vehicle and come into the hotel together (5) of us. 2 kids 3 adults she still asked how many people it was as if we were trying to hide someone! After my husband finished paying I went to park the car, she literally met me and my mom n law at the door and asked is there 5 or 4 because there is a fire hazard if it is 5 people in a room! Then told us we would have to upgrade to a queen suite when Priceline states you can have up to 6 guests in a room! One of the other players that play with my son, mom had a hotel as well so I put my nephew in a room with her. Because she failed to let us know about the deposit of $200 deposit hold our friend was short so my husband and I helped her out! The next morning we got ready to leave and went to grab the $200 deposit in cash from the front the lady went to check the room came Back with 2 pictures on her phone one of which was dirt on a towel, literally a little dirt! because the boys game got rained out that Saturday and a little slobber on a pillow case they are charged us $20! Y’all if you get a little slobber on a pillow case and a little dirt on a towel, they will be taking your money!!!! This hotel wasn’t even worth the $150 we paid the beds are hard and the room smelled like someone had a dog living in it. Walls were scraped up like they painted over the old paint! Sink was dirty the pillow case in our room had stains on them! They pretty much make their own rules so they can charge people extra money!!! Never stayed at a hotel where you can’t get a little dirt...
Read moreBEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!GM Lucy should not work in customer relations. My stay was covered by 2nd party but when a 3rd party visited the hotel to pay, they were denied. This happened the day after I'd wrote Lucy a email questioning a staff entering my room when 'do not disturb' sign was clearly on door knob! Next my vehicle was vandalized in parking lot. I made police report but Lucy evaded answering the police calls regarding video footage by declaring to one officer she wasn't there when I personally saw her there on said date and time officer called. That sounds like hindering an investigation of which is being looked into. My guess is that the cameras are there under false advertising! The elevator broke 3 times during my stay which leads to question if or why a operating business inspector should visit!!!! The staff made flyers to announce elevator inoperable and offered 5000 reward points. However I never received ANY of the points and for ANY of the mishaps. Don't believe the pictures shown online as this place according to other reviews have been going through construction for months and months!!!!! I wrote Lucy 3-5 emails regards ALL the outlined in this review but NO reply. There's a homeless camp 2 blocks away from this hotel and many many many non- guests roam the parking lot day and night hours !!!!! Regards to GM Lucy, I was asked to leave on the same day I wanted to address ALL of the above. The exact time of day I was asked to leave was during the most extreme heat warnings of the DAY 108! The time of day I was asked to leave was ALREADY after check out time therefore allowing GRACE and she ask me to instead pack up and leave the following morning! PURE RETALIATION FROM QUESTIONING POOR PRACTICES!!!!! I'm an open heart patient as well and is one reason why I was receiving help with hotel payment. I feel this was strong retaliation for questioning some occurrences in my email. The father God I serve always...
