This is the worst Chipotle I've ever been to. I would recommend driving to Morgantown (which is a 5 star Chipotle) as this one is a dud.
I get that food service is a tough job. I have respect for the workers. Even more so in the past few years. I try to be the easy customer - speaking clearly, please and thank you's and being prompt at checkout.
I just can't go back... look at the pictures other reviewers have posted.. the make line is disgusting most of the time.
They are out of ingredients more often than not.
I tried to give this place many many attempts. I've never really been motivated to give a negative review on Google until today. The manager there is just smug and the antithesis of customer service.
I have had many poor experiences with the Fairmont location... I'd love to share more with a regional manager (please reach out!) but for today I'll share this as I'm limited on characters:
When making my bowl today, it was scarcely portioned, employee only put about 1.5 ounces of chicken on the two bowls I was ordering. I asked to get the normal portion of about 4 oz of chicken please. They added a little more and I was satisfied. That should have been the end of it.
At checkout they charged me double. I disputed it - general manager tells me they are very precise on their portions and his employee gave the right amount. Scolded me I was wrong and that next time I would be charged double. Makes me feel like I'm trying to steal.
I wanted to have him weigh the portion right then and there, I knew he was wrong. He told me that his store over-portions. He doesn't have time.
Went home bothered by the managers tone and attitude, weighed the chicken, both bowls we under 3.5 oz of chicken protein. This is far from 8oz of protein he claimed i should be charged for - really not even at the 4oz I paid for.
I actually drove all way back to the store with pictures to talk to the manager, was given some pushback about how busy he was. Asked him to please sit down at a table with me to talk and he did. I told him he owed me an apology for giving me a hard time and acting like I was a chicken thief. He was still stand-offish, threw a sorry in and listened for a minute before scolding my volume (I was not yelling) and he just wanted me to leave and I did too.
General manager just didn't care.
TERRIBLE! Will not go back until there is a new manager if ever.
EDIT: Read the other reviews of this Chipotle location, it's not a coincidence or...
Read moreI gotta say… I’ve got some low standards when it comes to fast food.
All that to say, I have never been more consistently disappointed in a restaurant. My last FOUR (2 resulted in actual orders) attempts with this location, they’re either out of fajita veggies (literally at 5:30-6. Today I placed an order at 7:30, and guess what? No veggies). I ordered a bowl for me and a burrito for my husband, I learned from my mistake the first time of not checking my order before I left, and I did. I order the same thing, every single time. A bowl, white rice, fajita veggies, corn, SC, cheese, guac (it’s a veggie bowl so it’s included). This evening I ordered extra veggies on my bowl. When I popped the lid off before we even left the parking lot, I had NO veggies, but a boat load of sour cream, and lettuce sprinkled on top.
Friends, I didn’t order lettuce. I never do. So, I walk myself inside, waited 10 minutes for the girl behind the counter to help her customers (that’s not her fault she was alone), and when I got up to the counter I told her “hey, I’m really sorry but my bowl is wrong”. She just looks like she could take a long walk off a short pier and gives it to the girl who’s doing take out orders. She looked and she goes “well, we don’t have any veggies, but we’ve got everything else…” I said “well… if there’s none, I don’t want it…” and she gave me about a half serving to try and help.
And now, that’s not her fault. She’s not cooking. But good golly. This restaurant is literally always out of… well. Everything. It’s 7:30. You don’t close for almost 4 hours. You’re not going to make MORE veggies???? Lord have mercy. I can only hope they get some new help and actually run...
Read moreMy wife and I went to this location and were once again disappointed. We've tried to support local locations and there are several GOOD places to eat in the Whitehall area. ... this isn't one of them.
5:10 PM on a Wednesday - My wife ordered and I thought it was odd that the only person on the line, had to go back into the kitchen area to chop the meat individually for the bowl. When she returned my wife asked for items, one of which she was out of at that time. For the second item, the server pulled metal container out and dumped the little remaining contents into the bowl. The resulting bowl was weak since they were out of everything.
When I got to the line for her to make my order, I discovered just out "out of everything" they were at 5:10. There was no rice. (I could wait 18 minutes and they would have some.) The only meat available was chicken, all the other bins were completely empty. There were no onions or peppers, no corn salsa, very little lettuce, and if you wanted beans, she would scrape the bottom of the container.
Since there was no food available at Chipotle, we paid for my wife's bowl and I went to another restaurant in the plaza area to get dinner.... they actually had food! ...
