Not reviewing the pizza. Nothing spectacular but not bad either.
My review is about the service. I am in town for work and staying at a local hotel (there are several within walking distance of the restaurant). Stopped by for lunch and although the dining room wasnt open they were still serving carry out. Ordered a pizza, waited for it to be prepared and when I grabbed it I asked if they had a paper plate, napkin and crushed red pepper to go. If you are only offering carry out - wouldn't you think these would be basic requests? The employee went to grab them and when she returned she said they charged for the singular paper plate and the red pepper??!?
Isn't that standard for any pizza restaurant - usually sitting on the table? I can go to any carry out or delivery pizza place (or even Costco) and they will happily hand over a few packets.
And you want to charge me for a paper plate? Do you charge customers that use plates in your dinning room? Since that wasn't an option for me - would it really be unreasonable to give me a plate? I am spending like $20 on a pizza...
I usually don't write reviews unless its unusually good or bad. As I said, I'm from out of town so I wont be back but Id suggest the little ceasars in the gas station around the corner. I'm sure they'd be happy to have your business and not nickle and dime you for a plate...
Read moreMy family will NEVER eat there again. Today I ordered a pizza. My husband called and said he wanted to eat inside not just pick up the pizza and bring it home. So we arrived and were seated. I told them I had ordered a pizza but we decided to eat there instead. So we order our drinks. My daughter orders a chicken salad and the manager brings our pizza. She proceeds to talk to me in a condescending manner. "I am going to allow it this time but our policy is if you order in you can not eat here." I was floored. She talked to me as if it was a privileged to be allowed to sit in their restaurant and eat their pizza I PAID FOR. Her reasoning is that on weekends people will order and arrive and want to stay and eat when they are busy and there won't be any seats available. Are you frigging kidding me. That is a problem for this restaurant. Gone is the day where the customer is appreciated. Where you are valued. I will NOT spend another dime and will see to it that others know this happened. I will give other restaurants my money. OH and my eat in doubled our bill so they got more money from us from eating in and paying their riduclouse 2.50 for a drink times 2 and a chicken salad that was almost 8.00. She did not want us eating there due to some stupid policy that cost...
Read moreEvery year, I drive my family from Georgia to Fairmont to celebrate my grandmothers birthday. There is always one thing guaranteed…we WILL eat dinner at Colasessano’s! It truly is the BEST pepperoni roll, the pizza is outstanding and the service is impeccable! My family has grown and they were very accommodating with bringing us a high chair for my one year old daughter. The hostess, and two servers recognized that my daughter was done eating and our attempts at entertaining her weren’t working. The staff was amazing with my daughter, offering a quick game of peek-a-boo, that turned her soon-to-be disruptive behavior, into smiles and giggles. As a former restaurant general manager, I HOPE that the management of Colasessano’s recognizes and appreciates the high level of customer service that their staff provides and how appreciated their attentive service it! My only regret is that I wish I had gotten the names of the three young ladies working tonight so I could pass my appreciation on to the owner! Thank you girls, I hope this message finds...
