I usually never have too many issues with this location. But on March 29th, 2025 at 12:50am was a whole different story. I went through the drive thru with my husband, mother, and aunt all in the car with me. Right off the bat the employee taking orders sounded just very rude and like she already had an attitude. We ordered 20 sliders (the menu said 20 sliders came with 2 fries) but instead of fries we wanted onion chips...every time we said 20 sliders she would repeat it then with a sharp attitude she would correct us saying ok a crave case, now we didn't see if the crave case came with fries but we knew the 20 sliders came with 2 fries (according to the menu) so we said not a crave case, we want the 20 sliders with the 2 fries but instead of fries we wanted onion chips... we did this dance about 3 times then we ordered 2 large chocolate shakes and a large vanilla (since they were out of strawberry) She didn't repeat the order to confirm it, just told us "ok pull up".... once we got to the window we asked if she had got the 2nd chocolate shake and she repeats that we got 2 large chocolate and a small vanilla, we corrected her stating that they were all supposed to be large then with another sharp attitude she barks back "ya that's what you got 2 large chocolate and a large vanilla" then once we realized things seemed to be already jacked up and we hadn't even received the food yet we asked if she got that we wanted onion chips instead of fries, she started to argue with us saying we never said anything about the onion chips and we told her no we ordered the 20 sliders with the 2 fries but wanted onion chips instead (the onion chips were the only thing my mother wanted from there) so after doing this dance another 3 or 4 times going back and forth telling her we said it about 3 or 4 times and her popping her neck and waiving her hand stating she didn't hear nothing about onion chips and the crave cases don't come with fries... once we realized we weren't getting anywhere with her we asked if we could just get a large sack of onion chips. She sharply and pretty load said "uh no" and told us we would have to go back around and order them at the speaker. Now I get it she had people behind us and everything but we did order the correct stuff, it was her own fault for messing up our order and the attitude and body language made it even worse. We ended up leaving without the onion chips and bc my mother was so upset about this whole experience we went to the location in groveport (in front of giant eagle) and got her onion chips. The man even apologized for an employee that doesn't even work for his location. All in all we should of just went to the groveport location. The whitehall location on Hamilton is extremely disappointing 😞 I don't understand why I have to argue for the correct items. Hopefully she didn't treat anyone else like that. (Not that it's OK to do it to us) but just know that if I do visit this location again, I will drive right off if she's...
Read moreWhite Castle is a time-honored icon in south central Ohio, and because it's been around far longer than McDonalds (1921!), it might just be a little overlooked and underestimated.
Little steamed burgers are real gems, they're affordable, and if you pile them high enough - you can do it for cheap - it really does make for a good meal. The new White Castle offers lots of interesting choices - if you haven't visited in a while, consider checking out the new, improved WC.
Update: Sometimes the service alone begs for an edit. Daniel took my order from a long drive through line, and I was instantly struck by his sense of desire to make his customer happy. Not something that's very common in Pandemicland. When he got my card for processing, he went to the back, and I noticed that the transaction was taking longer than usual - not too long - just a minute or two. Daniel came back to the window and started to apologize profusely - I held my finger up to my masked lips in a hush motion, and told him he did good, and any apologies won't be necessary because he was quite simply a good guy, and I feel like I was treated very well. I'll never know what the issue was, but I don't care - I'm still happy with Daniel's friendly service -...
Read moreI’ll never return to this location again. The staff is rude and can’t even get a simple order correct. I ordered a breakfast combo with two bacon egg and cheese sandwiches, hash browns, and coffee, then added a separate sausage eggs and cheese sandwich. I was the only person in the store and there were two cars at the drive thru, yet it took almost ten minutes for my food. When I received my order the hash browns were missing and when I pointed it out I was told I didn’t order a combo, except I did. A normal place would apologize and make it right but I was blamed for not ordering correctly a second time, as if I don’t know what I said, then was charged to replace the hash browns. When I got home I found I got two sausage sandwiches and one bacon instead of the other way around. So not only do staff not listen or take responsibility for their mistakes, they put the burden on the customer when it gets messed up. It’s clear the customer does not come first at this location. They have lost my business forever. There’s a cleaner, better store a few minutes away from this location. I suggest going...
