Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Whiteville

UPDATE The owner did reach out to me and did offer to make things right. I think that is an acceptable solution to a bad experience. I know that EVERYONE has a bad day (especially me) and hope they will use this experience as a training moment with their local management and crew. I have updated my review from 1 to 4 stars and will continue to patronize this location. I will update this review based on my future experiences.

I decided to celebrate National Pizza Day 2019. I have ordered from this Papa Johns many times before with no problems. I ordered online and went to pickup about 25 minutes later. When I arrived, I paid for the pizza and was told it would be about 6 more minutes. I sat and waited thinking that must mean they just put it in the oven. At least one time while waiting they asked my name. About 15 minutes later I asked if my pizza was out of the oven yet. They again asked my name and I gave it to them. I waited 5 more minutes and asked if my pizza had even been prepared yet. They looked at me dumbfounded and I asked again. The person I assume was the manager shrugged her shoulders which I took to mean she did not know. She explained they were very busy. I was in there for 25 minutes and saw 4 pizzas come out of the oven. I was not pleased and asked for my money back. SO NOT HAPPY!!!!!!! Should not even get 1 star. Every time I order from this location something goes wrong. First time I ordered they for our soda. The driver went to the store and brought it back. The second time we ordered from them they once again forgot our soda a long with the dipping sauce. The driver once again drove back to the store and brought it to us. So I figured well they could just be busy. But now I ordered today and got my pizza and it was mashed, they tipped it to the side. When the girl was taking it out of the bag she 1st pulled the 2 liter of soda off the top of the pizza box and then just looked at me. So I called and the manager said they will remake it and it would take about an hour. I received the mashed pizza at 1130am and just received the reorder at 145pm. So placed an order here for 2 pizzas and wings nothing to special. After two and a half hours waiting and multiple phone calls to an employee who obviously could care less I was told on the phone by him that I could have had my order hours ago if I had done pick up and not delivery. I left a complaint on the email survey and also online on the corporate webpage and was responded to by some person informing me that the manager for the store would call me back within 48 hours it has now been 4 days and the manager has not called and is unavailable every time I reach out to the store. This is by far the worst Papa John's Pizza I have ever had to deal with and they obviously don't care about any form of customer service of any sort.
