Pigford's — Restaurant in Whiteville

We spent over $60. We bought a 20 piece chicken pack that included rolls and 5 sides. And a pint of Barbeque. When looking through the bag I discovered that one side was missing. I went back and they gave me the side but put five containers in one bag busting the lid of the greens and some leaked out. We were in a hurry because we were leaving to go home to FL and didn't discover that they didn't give us the rolls until we went to eat. We didn't have time to go back. Also the chicken was small and dry. It didn't taste fresh in the opinion of me and others who ate it. We had to wait a long time too. They staff was nice though. I feel that we didn't get what we paid for. We don't live there but have family that does and go there a lot. I'm not sure we want to go back. I would rather pay more for my order to be correct and fresh tasting chicken. The Barbeque was good. And all but one side was good. The fries were cold...

We visited Pig foots today for lunch at 2:00 pm and ordered(2) plates of: 2 chicken legs, short thigh with hush puppies. The cashier at the window offered us fries to go with our meal my son said yes and I responded no for my order. We were asked to park, when we received our plates one order was correct but the other tray had the chicken, fries and 2 slim small hush puppies so I called about my order. I could hear the cashier in the back fussing with a bad attitude. I come back to the window about my order she argues with me instead of correcting the order and bluntly lied and said I’m supposed to get only 2 hush puppies if I ordered fries and the only reason I got more on the other tray is because I didn’t get fries. Absolute best chicken place in Columbus County... Probably North Carolina... I have literally been eating pig food since I was a child I can remember being taken there by my mother when I was four or five years old and they're still going to this day and if you want something amazing go in there and get you a crispy gizzard snack with fries okra 🫠🫠 perfection in food!!!!! And the sweet tea oh good Lord the sweet tea is fantastic!!! And the people the people are always willing to go out of their way to make sure your order is exactly the way that you wanted it they are a great group of individuals this place has a special spot in my heart and I will always continue to eat at pigford's!!!
