My large family is traveling through the area. The family split up to eat & stopped for Wendy’s & Hardee’s. They are side by side. Of course the kids wanted Wendy’s & they are very picky eaters. I specified my order & a part of it was incorrect. So I go back for corrections. The staff was sweet when attempting to assist with the discrepancy, then the manager Who Took My Order seemed to be a bit frustrated that I returned with an issue. She said a few things to the staff as if I was not present. I did not respond just requested the corrections to be made. I said all this to say. The paying customers should not have to deal with any attitude or back and forth. If it’s paid for and incorrect, just correct the order to maintain Great Customer Service. I won’t be going back to this location, I ended up going over to Hardee’s to complete my order. I did love the great customer service that the employees displayed to us. We had our usual biggie bag which was delicious as always but what was unusual was the lady at the drive thru window. She was so kind and respectful. This experience today was pleasant since normally everywhere you go the drive thru attendants are snotty and arrogant. This lady appeared to be middle aged and really liked her job. She spoke to everyone that I could hear so respectful it was just nice to see someone that cared and wanted to make the customer feel appreciated. It was about two o’clock when we stopped. I should have asked her name but I didn’t. But I did acknowledge her effort and thanked her for her kindness. Read moreWe stop at the Wendy's in Whiteville, NC to grab something to eat on the way back home to SC and this was one of the worst experiences I have had in 2025. First I was overcharged for my food and when the manager bought my refund to me, no apologies were given but she wasn't nasty about it like her drive thru cashier. I stopped to check my food and as I walked back in the building, the drive thru cashier ( which was the only white girl working besides the manager) blurted out- HERE SHE COMES AGAIN? If I just spent $35 in your restaurant and something isn't right, yes ma'am I am coming in to address the issue.
