Tacos Baja — Restaurant in Whittier

First time visiting the new location. Food is always very good. For take out, We ordered 4 fish tacos, 1 bean and cheese burrito, 1 asada(beef) with beans-cheese-light rice, crab ceviche, shrimp plate, fish plate. Total $62.

Jahyden was very cordial and made sure we got everything into their system. We picked up some giant yellow peppers from the self-serve unit.

Lots of free parking in the lot(about 50+ spaces available). The entire building was freshly repainted and landscaped before the grand opening at their new location. The new sight is done very well and lists many popular dishes.

The inside is typical fast food style. Clean but basic.

Unfortunately, one fish Taco was missing. Be sure to verify your order before leaving with takeout. We'll return tomorrow to get a refund. See how they do.

Also, the rear door is locked but there is no sign indicating that so had to turn around and exit the front door. Another customer did the same thing.

They also need an arrow sign at the front counter indicating that the pickup window is around the corner to the left. And, a small PA so you can hear your order number being called.

Service was super quick and easy going. Prices are very reasonable and the quality of the fish tacos are superb. But if you visited Tacos Baja before well you already knew that. The tortillas used are full of flavor.

This is their new location just down the street. Place has been upgraded and is comfortable but some of the fixtures are fixes and not newly replaced. Seems like they haven't quite dialed in the operations yet. Overall a very...

Great food. Dirty tables, dirty floors. They use recycled water to clean the tables from a bucket that sits there all day instead of individual towel and spray. As a result their tables are always sticky. I get that their food is a little messy to eat. But seems like people are constantly asking them to clean the tables.
