Qiu's Buffet — Restaurant in Wichita Falls

I just moved here a few days ago while my husband finishes up tech school at Sheppard AFB. One of the first things I do when I move anywhere is try and find a good Chinese place. Because it’s my FAVORITE. I chose this place because it was the closest, having read the reviews before hand I was hoping maybe some of them were exaggerated. Let’s start from the phone call, I ordered all of my food gave him the address and card number. He had me off the phone before I was able to ask the total or give him my Apt number. But I was willing to look past that and taste the food. The food arrived very quickly and I didn’t even get a delivery charge. But when I opened the box I was confused at to what I was looking at. It looked like a dried up chicken wing. The sweet and sour sauce is watered down and tasteless. The chicken was dry and I even had a few pieces that were doughy. The fried rice however was not to bad. The crab Rangoon’s taste were on point... but there was no filling and they tasted old and over done. Maybe fried twice? Hello all, I usually leave good reviews for places and people but my husband and I choose this place to eat cause of course we were hungry, my husband had the shrimp fried rice and I had the orange chicken, the food was good and good place to eat but we called in and a female answered the phone Trina was her name think, she said it was busy and she had to put our name down and she ask for our number to put on the list which I thought was weird but we we’re hungry I didn’t think nothing of it, after we left go home we get this text of threats of us being gay and so on it was very disturbing they mentioned that she helped us when we were there. Teriyaki chicken was sweet and had a good, grilled texture, but that was about it. First, the soda tasted bad. Kind of a moldy taste; much like ammonia. I switched sodas and the other one had the same flavor, so it was the machine itself. The chicken seemed a little under-cooked and the crab rangoons were super greasy. The waitress was very nice, but she was not very attentive and the delivery driver ended up getting drinks for us before he left again. Ten minutes after that, I immediately moved to my restroom upon return home, where I had ample time to sit and write this review.
