Croissant Gate 2025 – A Saga of Missed Orders and Bad Vibes

This was one of the most frustrating coffee shop experiences I’ve had in a while. First, the speaker wasn’t working, so I had to repeat my order multiple times—and then again at the window. I asked for a decaf iced coffee with soy milk (they didn’t have it, so they substituted oat milk), and a croissant sandwich with sausage. The guy at the window was actually really nice and told me the coffee would be free because of the milk situation—which I appreciated—but then they completely forgot my sandwich until I reminded them.

That’s when things went further downhill. I was asked if my croissant sandwich was “chocolate-filled”… which definitely wasn’t what I ordered. After another 5-minute wait, the girl at the window handed me a box with an attitude and said, “$7.35.” I paid (still didn’t get charged for the coffee, which was the only win here)… only to get to work and open the box to find a TURKEY sandwich instead of the sausage croissant I’d ordered.

I just wanted a decent breakfast and some caffeine before my serving shift. Instead, I got confusion, poor service, and a sandwich I didn’t even ask for. If you value your time—or accuracy—maybe skip Buffalo Coffee until they...

White Buffalo Coffee Bar is average. I visited for lunch. I felt It was bit expensive.... kind of like Starbucks, but without the refinement of a major brand or chain.

Listening to the staff, it seemed like they were still working out the kinks when a new business opens. I heard them talking, and they substituted turkey bacon for regular bacon on my sandwich without asking me after I ordered the sandwich. I guess they were out of regular bacon. It would have been nice to know that they would have to make a substitution when I was ordering and before paying for an item... I probably would have ordered a different item if I knew.

I ordered a turkey, bacon, and avocado sandwich and the vegetable spring rolls. The sandwich was ok tasting, but not a great value. The spring rolls were not crisp... no better than you can find from your frozen grocery section... just ok... nothing special... also, not a great value for the price.

Was not impressed with my drive thru experience. I come from a background of about 7 years in the coffee industry and I love to try new places while traveling. The coffee’s were way over the top sweet. My shaken espresso had no foam/texture that is signature for a shaken espresso. It was just an overly sweet iced mocha. The bagel sandwiches were okay, but dry. The customer service also left something to be desired. Perhaps the gentleman working the window and drive was new, but he actually got my order wrong- i ordered a 16 oz hot caramel white mocha and he repeated my order back as their iced caramel shaken espresso drink with oat milk. I didn’t want to make a big deal about it so I went with it, but the drink I got was a disappointment no matter what it was supposed to be. He was also very curt and borderline unfriendly at the window. My husbands drink (Tiger mocha) was also sickly sweet.

Overall, kinda wish we would have stopped somewhere else. I couldn’t recommend going to this place. Has potential, needs some recipe adjustments and some better...
