Table was dirty when the waitress sat us at it. My fiance, who is a part time waitress as a second job, I myself waited tables in my teens and early twenties, asked the waitress "may I use a towel please, so I can wipe the table off?" The waitress got a towel and did wipe down the table herself, but not before shooting my fiance a very nasty look, then wiped it down while making annoyed sighing or breathing sounds. Even after the wipe down the table was sticky to the touch.
Afterwards, she was fairly polite the majority of the rest of our visit... When bringing our entrees put she asked us both to cut into and ensure that ou meats were prepared the way we had ordered, neither were her burger was between medium rare medium, she ordered well done, and when ordering, put detail and emphasis on the "no pink in it what so ever." So she sent it back. My steak was a medium, when I ordered a medium well, though I ate it and said it was fine, I am not quite as picky about it.
While the burger was being cooked to the right specifications...
The manager happened to be cleaning in our general area, and she asked how everything was, and was very professional and polite in doing so, while still demonstrating a title of authority, with her confidence, body language, and manner...
The waitress never once prebussed our tables to rid it of excess clutter. Even though we had the dishes stacked nice at the edge of the table, with all of our trash and silverware set on top of the stacks, yet, she still left every dish until the meals were mostly eaten, with the remainders placed into to go boxes, before she bussed those dishes away.
The food was okay,...
Read moreExperience last night (2/24) was the worst ever at a Chili’s. Most issues weren’t with my table but rather around us. My sons burger was ordered plain but it came with all the vegetables and an unknown sauce. He sucked it up and ate it because he noticed the disaster around us and didn’t want to mess with reordering. A waitress dumped a plate of food on the table and floor next to us. At first I thought only a little BBQ sauce ended up on my pants but when I got home I realized the back of my left sleeve was covered in sauce. Our waiter nor any other staff alerted me that is was there. The staff never cleaned the food that the waitress dropped on the floor and table while we were still there. At least 30 minutes. The managers walked by it at least twice. The table behind us was extremely upset as there were about 4 things incorrect when they finally got their order. A different waitress finally corrected all of the issues. And as we were walking out after paying, someone was sending their steak back to the kitchen because it was severely undercooked. Maybe just a bad night but I am checking that location off of my list to ever...
Read moreI don't know if it was because we walked in a hour and a half before closing or what but tonight was not good. I will say that our waitress was good. I believe she was in training but she did decent job. Your standard waitress job. But the food was the real problem. I order the mango-chile tilapia which came with broccoli and citrus-chile rice. The tilapia was good, small size but good with the toppings, the broccoli ok, the rice on the other felt and tasted like it had been sitting out in the open. A good portion of the rice was dried out and hard, and had NO citrus-chile flavor. The rice tasted much like old brown rice that was left out. Along with the texas cheese fries....it was pretty much a kids meal helping of fries along with cheese and toppings tossed on top. I hate having to drive out my way for decent restaurants. This one is closer to me but again has failed me with the food. The Chili's out on K-96 and Greenwich is the chili's for me never had a problem there ever. Food is excellent staff super friendly and take pride in the cooking. Last time i stop thru here, will be going towards...
