I decided to give this location a try since my first experience with the other location in wichita was not good and after reading the reviews of both the west wichita and the east wichita locations it looked like the west one had many reviews with similar negative experiences to mine.
Though at this location, I basically got the same thing that I did at the west one. A chicken burrito, white rice, no beans, lettuce, sour cream, string cheese, and pico. I also decided to add the queso to the burrito since that seems to be the unique thing thet qdoba offers.
This burrito was sooo much better than my first. The portions were better, plenty of the meat and the rest of my additions were portioned correctly and were spread out in the burrito evenly. The chicken wasn't burnt like what I got previously and it was also not dry like what I normally see from chipoltle. The rice was cooked perfectly and everything else tasted amazing.
I also decided to get the meal that came with the small chips and medium queso. The amount of chips was actually more than I woukd get with a large chips from chipoltle and the medium queso was the perfect amount for the chips I got. The queso also tasted great.
I woukd say, if you're going to qdoba, go to the east side one.
I also wanted to add this here for the main company: Please take a look into why the west side location is doing so poor recently instead of making up fake support ticket numbers and telling people to email your support to "make up" for the issue. I was given one of those numbers a few days ago and have yet to hear back about it. Though honestly I would prefer if the west side location could get some retraining or something so that I wouldn't have to ask for a refund or remake...
Read moreIf I could give this 0 star I would. An online order was placed and picked up. No mention of any issues at the time of pick up. Once the food was unpacked and inspected at home it was noted one of our orders was missing more than half the ingredients listed on the sticker on the lid of the container. I drove back up to the store (the missing ingredients were key and worth the drive) and explained at the window it was missing items. Nothing was sad at that time my bowl was taken. A few minutes later a different person comes to the window with my bowl and says âitâs missing stuff cause weâre out of stuffâ. To which I asked why that wasnât mentioned or addresses at pick up to prevent a drive back up there. She then raises her voice and said âweâre busy we donât have time to tell people that!â And I stated this was incredibly poor customer service to not communicate with a customer over specific order requests. As I was talking, not yelling and not rude, she threw her hand in my face then slammed the drive thru window in my face. I have been in the customer service industry for well over 20 years and it would take A LOT for me to voice concern, however, this is flat out appalling how this woman behaved. We frequent this location often as itâs close to home and we genuinely like the food. The customer service is never great but our orders are always correct so we have never thought twice about it. Tonight was a very different incident. We couldâve survived without the items had it been communicated at time of check out. It was the behavior of this woman that really made...
Read moreWe've eaten Qdoba at Intrust Arena many times with varying satisfaction, either there's way too much cheese and little meat, or the chips have been stale, but overall it's always tasty. We decided to hit their brick location this time and see what else they had to offer. There was definitely a lot to choose from, but somehow we just ended up ordering basically the same thing. However, we did add more toppings. I'm just going to put it out there and say overall this is a pretty tasty place, but for some reason that I really don't understand, I was given 3 ladles of nacho cheese over my chips. I never asked for extra cheese. I felt there was an ample amount already after the first server poured it over the chips. But when she slid my bowl to the next server, she added not one, but two ladles of nacho cheese in addition to my other toppings. Well, by the time we paid, found a place to sit down, and started eating, my chips had already started going soft. After about five bites, it became completely unedible due to the salt and cheese overload. My boyfriend picked out the meat, and I just ate the rice and beans. What was left was a styrofoam Bowl with a bunch of soggy tortilla chips. At over $8, I really felt jilted and felt it was a waste of good food. Next time I go in I will make sure to get my nacho cheese on the side. Overall, it was pretty yummy....
