My daughter and her friend wanted Freddy's before we took the hour drive back home. This was the closest Freddy's we could find so we decided to go to this one instead of the one in Derby that we typically would go to. Big mistake. The floors were so slippery and where they weren't slippery, they were sticky. The counter where you get your drinks, straws, lids, and salt/pepper etc was very sticky and just yucky. Some of the condiments as well as the seasoning salt were kept away from the customers so you have to ask for specific condiments and seasoning salt, unlike any other Freddy's we've gone to. Since we were driving an hour my son wanted his vanilla custard in a plastic cup that would be easier for him to hold and would fit into the cup holder if he got full. So I asked if he could get his custard in the cup instead of the paper one I guess it normally would come in, they tried to charge me almost $2 more just for it being in the cup and when I asked about it, they literally said that the extra $ is for the plastic cup instead of the other cup 🙄 ok whatever. Then I paid and my son reminded me he wanted sprinkles, so I asked the girl if she could put some on there and she said she absolutely could, I apologized for not remembering. Then a guy goes to register and charges me about $1.50 for sprinkles to be put on the custard! 😂 Obviously I paid and it's clear that the store is "Mr. Krab-ing" every little item in that restaurant. They are very stingy with SEASONS SALT and cups, and apparently with their sprinkles too! I left feeling like we weren't welcome from the start and them overcharging for the same amount of product but just in a different cup threw me off and then to be charged for sprinkles after already paying and being told they'd just add them, and after literally feeling like you're BEGGING for basic condiments, we decided we would just stick to what works for us and that's a different location with kinder people and seasoning salt that we don't have to ask for 😂 If I were on this side of town again, and this was the closest Freddy's, I'd make the trip to a different one just to avoid ever going back to this location. New review, ordered and the girl was on her 2nd shift so was still learning, no big deal we all have been there. Got my food and had onions on three things that specifically said no onions. The short manager with dark hair pulled back in a pony tail fixed the chili cheese fries. Extra chili and extra cheese, the fries were swimming in chili and it looked like we were in a cheese shortage or the little troll in the cheese dispenser couldn't push out any more cheese. I nicely asked for some extra cheese, seeing as I paid for extra cheese and was told "that is extra cheese" well hold troll nuts then is regular cheese just chili fries and cheese on two fries?
The taller blonde manager came up and stuck her nose in the conversation and when I said we ordered everything with no onions she grabbed my receipt out of my hand and pointed to where it said " chili cheese fries" ok it may say that but I still ordered it w/o onions, I ate it with onions and she did add "extra cheese" it wasnt even enough to go across the width of the basket.
Both these women are working in the kitchen barking orders and when the small rush slowed down they both left their station a mess and I would be willing to bet that someone else had to clean up after them
We come here twice a month and it has usually been fairly good. Today was a definite disappointment, we will be back and hopefully these two managers are either at home or have been promoted to a position where they don't have to deal with us common folk!

Read moreOrdered at the drive-thru. Got home on the hottest day of the year, only to find that they gave me a burger with no top bun at all! Are they all high? Called the manager, and he said that's what happens when they hurry too much. Offered to send coupons to make it right, but they never actually sent any. ONE YEAR LATER UPDATE: I did get a call from Freddy's a few weeks later, but was at the bank, and asked them to call me back in a few minutes. I never got a call back, and the issue has never been resolved. 3 YEAR UPDATE: I still never got a call back, and the issue has never been resolved. I guess they want me to keep posting regular updates on their blindingly fast, incredible response to customers who are waiting to hear from them. Not. I'll try to add to this review soon, folks!
March 2024 update - Freddy's is still a total zero in terms of contact. I think they hate me.
October 2025 update - Freddy's, I have changed phone providers in the years since I got the cold shoulder from you, but I have doggedly demanded that I keep my same phone number, because I just know you'll call me. Someday. I'm starting to think that you're not going to call me... Do I need to do daily or weekly updates for the next few years? Decades?
