As per my MO, torta asada. Steak is an upper-mid level quality. Salsa roja has a degree of piquancy reminiscent of Mr. Taco, but the flavor has a quality which I will characterize as initially sweet followed closely by the heat of its spice. Sandwich punctuated by a thin layer of [avocado-crema?] paste, which is an interesting diversion from fresh-sliced. Bread is nice, thick enough to sustain the torta but not so thick that it dominates, and the crust flavor is perfect (atm).
Open after 10, some indoor seating, poor street signage but plenty of neon.
