This location has continually been a disappointment to me. The staff has always been rude. Last time I went, I ordered a sweet tea with vanilla and cream, I drove away from the window to discover they put lime in it instead, and that was their second attempt at making it right. I personally think it was the most putrid thing I’ve ever put in my mouth- I threw the whole thing away at the QT down the street. Tonight I actually got what I ordered from another rude carhop and I received a full cup of ice with hardly any drink. If you can, I would suggest going to the 21st and Tyler location, they actually have their act together.
1/5/22 Update- The manager called me after I posted this. He explained he had talked to the employees involved, and wanted to send a gift card to give them another chance. I agreed. This was back in October/November and I still haven’t received anything. I’m not sure if possibly it got lost in the mail or what, but if you’re going to call me back asking for another chance, and not follow through with your attempt to make it right, you’re pretty much guaranteed to drive people away. My husband thinking he didn't have to check the sack because it should be right Sat the sack on the floor so he could hold drinks so I could drive. Get all the way home and multiple items we missing. Turning around and heading back kept getting a busy tone when we tried to call the store. Hit the button in the stall and told them some of my order was missing. They were going to send someone out. 10 minutes of waiting I hit the red button again. They come running out with my food. It was cold. They said it was under the heat lap. I had already waited so long. That they should have made it fresh and I wasn't going to wait because my other food was at home getting cold and the drinks watered down. Read moreThe service is ALWAYS slow, nevermind when you are on a 20 min lunch and work is less than a half mile. Normally have to inhale what food I can in that half mile, while walking in 10 mins late. ALWAYS double check the order. At least half the time something is wrong with the order or straight up missing. Even when I am the ONLY car there and order a very small meal or even just a drink, it takes them at least 10 mins to bring my order. The card readers have been not reading our cars the past couple times and the food hop was annoyed having to take our card and use those machines or type the number in. We only go here if we are not in a hurry and the kids are insistent they must have Sonic. Honestly, unless you are craving something only they have, go...
