I ordered a little cheeseburger, little fries, and a small coke, this came out to over $10, the food has a premium price. Premium quality does not come with the premium price, in my opinion the burger tasted almost identical (except slightly more burnt) than a cheaper burger from Sonic. The french fries were abysmal, saturated and dripping frying oil, a sign of trying to cook with the fryer temperature too high. The beef patty is rushed and overcooked, the fries rushed and poorly cooked, the quality of the food does not justify the price.
As for the atmosphere, space between tables was at a minimum making it difficult to reach a table. The decor was bland and booring, just sacks of potatoes lining the walls as if to emphasize the poor space layout.
Within an hour of eating at Five Guys, I began to feel very sick with an upset stomach. I can not say for certain that Five Guys was at fault, but I have never gone back and I have not experienced the same stomach...
Read moreYour typical 5 Guys restaurant/ atmosphere. That said, it isn't a negative thing. It's a pretty unique atmosphere that fosters an old timey feel as there's boxes of free all you can eat peanuts. The food is always cooked fresh right in front of you. The staff here are always friendly, polite, attentive to the details of your order, and generally seem happy and to get along well with each other as there's usually some funny conversations happening. Overall, every single time I'm around, I always stop at this specific 5 Guys to grab a bite to eat. Be it eating inside, outside on their patio area under an umbrella (which is really nice when the weather is good), or take out.. I have never had a bad experience here. As is 5 Guys fry style, there is always PLENTY of fries to go around - even as a "little fry" order. If you're looking for a really good burger with an authentic American feel/taste, I highly recommend you stop here. You won't regret it. I know I...
Read moreThis a waste of $... ordered 3 single bacon cheese burgers, 1 double bacon cheese burger and 1 grilled cheese. Only thing they got right was the grilled cheese. All burgers were doubles, none had any bacon, all were cold, and they only got the condiments right on the plain burger. They attempted to make it right, gave an option to remake our order, or give us sides of bacon. Took the sides of bacon due to the lunch rush starting (we got there before the rush) and it took a long time to get it wrong the first time when they only had to worry about 5 orders. The bacon was so over cooked, it was like chewing glass. $70 for all this? It would have been cheaper, and more fulfilling to go to McDonald's..... they at least know bacon cheese burgers come with bacon. My advice? Stay away from 5 guys, at least the one on N. Rock Rd. Only reason they get 1 star is because that is the...
