I understand that typically when you order online, you go through the drive thru pick up to get your food. Last night I had ordered online and since some of my family ordered food from the restaurant 5 Guys, great service by the way, I would just rub in and grab it. When I entered Noodles and Company I walked right up to the front desk and gave them my name for my pick up order. I was told they were working on it and it would be ready soon. It's my fault for not saying something sooner, but I stood there for 25 mintues, as I assumed the information I gave them would make it apparent that I wasn't picking up through the drive thru. I was totally wrong. My food had been sitting by the drive thru for who knows how long. I understand it was human error, it was teenagers working during the dinner rush, but I didn't even get an apology. As for the food, I ordered the pad thai. Ordered about an hour before they closed and by the time we actually got our food, drive home, took a few bites, realized they put almost no sauce on the woman's food, found a hair in mine, and realized everything sucked, and decided to get a refund, it was closing time. I didn't have time to come by the next day, but the day after I brought everything back, including the receipt, told them I wanted a refund and they refused to do so. I could see them saying no if I took several days to get back or didn't have the good and the receipt, but I believe I was well within reason to get a refund.
