I ordered Crab Rangoon appetizers that were sub par. I ate 2 and left 4 on the plate. Next I had Won Ton soup and it was OK minus the clumps of cabbage floating in it? For the entree I had Chicken Szechwan and it was more like hard green peppers and onions with bits of chicken. The fortune cookie and tea was pretty good. Service was OK, friendly lady a little slow on the draw. She told me at the start that it was the same restaurant I loved in the 70s and 80s called Chung Wa's on 39th street. We tried for the first time today, I have been wanting to try this place based on the reviews. It’s weird, the quality of the food tasted good but there was no flavor. I got the empress chicken that said it was spicy, there was no spice to it at all and no flavor but the chicken was cooked well. My boyfriend got the sesame chicken and it was the same, no flavor, not even sesame seeds. The rice was a little dry. I recently stumbled upon a gem of a Chinese restaurant called New Wong's, and I am absolutely in love!
