Panda Express — Restaurant in Wildomar

Usually it is not so bad. Order, pick up, leave, order, pick up, leave. Sam routine nothing to special just getting my lunch. But today, Sept 26,2014. I had a horrible experience. After going through the drive through and being told they wont be able to put more meat in my panda bowl I was already kind of irritated but whatever rules are rules. I finally got my order and returned to work from my 30 minute lunch break. As I opened my panda bowl, the meat was incorrect. I called the store and a women answered, I explained in the nicest way what had happened and she turned around as asked someone what she should do because I order a certain kind of chicken and received a different kind. I did not hear the response but than the lady said, "No that is what you ordered" I explained again that this is not what I wanted, I knew what I wanted because I had gotten it 4 days prior. She was apparently not understanding, for she continued to tell me that what I ordered is what I wanted. IT WAS NOT! I asked to speak to someone else and she told me, in a very rude manner, "I am the manager right now." I knew she was lying because she had just asked someone else what she was supposed to do. This location in Wildomar is consistently the most unpleasant Panda Express in the Lake Elsinore-Murrieta-Temecula area.

Ironically I choose Panda to eat healthy, ordering Broccoli Beef-String Bean Chicken-Teriyaki Chicken with vegetables as the side. This has been my set order for years, also specifically asking for a fresh batch of just-steamed vegetables rather than the veggies in the warming tray that is loaded with salt and some sort of meat stock. Only this location argues with me that this special batch of vegetables is against corporate policy. No other Panda Express location causes me any problems with this request.

This location seems to have a problem with management turnover; years ago I'd eat here at least once a week. I knew the manager then very well, greeting me with a huge smile and always ready to ask for new vegetables ahead of my requesting it. Now I never recognize anyone behind the counter for long. I've had friends and family say in passing that this location has argumentative staff and that it is the most stingy with portions.

The assistant manager said earlier tonight that he would no longer make the accommodation for me of steamed vegetables in the future. So despite this place being the closest Panda to where I live, I won't be eating here again. I don't need to fight for steamed vegetables, which took just two-to-three minutes to prepare, every single time I walk through...

Just went through the drive through the other day and had to post a review. I was pretty surprised by their food this visit. It was piping hot an very fresh this time around. I got the bowl with honey sesame chicken breast with chow mein and super greens. The chow mein an veggies had good flavor perfect garlic sauce. The chicken was freshly made it was crunchy but had a bit too much coating to chicken. Since it was sliced very small it dried out a bit when they fried it. But I'd prefer it over cooked than under lol. They didn't quite coat the chicken all the way with the honey sauce. I had checked my bag before leaving the girl at the drive through didn't give me soy sauce so I asked for some an she gave me 2 lol. I went to open it and yeah it didn't rip open so I had to go inside and grab some the lady at the counter was a way better experience. She was so nice an apologized for not giving enough in the first place and she was so thankful to have my service. I also haven't been inside of a panda express in a long time since today. I really do like the vibe low lighting, music, lots of seating, and open. I also loved to see all the freshly prepared veggies in tubs inside the fridge.
