Miz Kathi's Southern Sweetery — Restaurant in Wildwood

Preordered my holiday cake and went to pick it up. They could not find my order. The worker went in the back and came out with a cake in a box and handed it to me and proceeded to help the next customer. All of the orders were beautifully wrapped in a holiday bow - mine was not. I got it home and the raspberries were over ripe, mushy soft and had bled all over the top of the cake. I went to publix, purchased raspberries and had to redo the top of the cake. I messaged Miz Kathys on facebook and they saw the message but decided not respond. As someone who is a local and regular customer, it is beyond disappointing being treated that way. I waited hoping I would be acknowledged after the holidays and rush were over but still...

What a disappointment I drove all the way from floral city, which is approximately a 50 minute drive thinking that you would have stuff for Easter to find out you had one pecan pie and one chocolate marshmallow cake and one strawberry coconut cake and that was all you had to offer for the Easter weekend !!! I guess unless you make a reservation for a cake… just to go as a walk-in ….you’re not gonna get anything. FB message to Miz Kathi’s was …..

The treats here are amazing, I like how they do not overload their baked goods with a ton of sugar and they still taste great without making you sick. Been here a few times and the staff are always friendly whether we’re getting a whole bunch of stuff or just a couple coffees, which are always perfect. The coffees, to me, are never under or overly sweet (I get iced) and always tastes fresh and has a really good flavor. Prices are...
