McDonald's — Restaurant in Wilkinsburg

Something's not right with the night crew here. I ordered online and received 2/10 items in my order. My friend decided to pick their order up because of that and was told everything was In the bag which wasn't true. 2 burgers were missing and they had to go through the drive thru. Not to mention, but a couple nights before that... We went at night of course and the employee was telling all the customers in drive thru that they were closed and their systems were down, but when we got to the window they took our order, so we were really confused. They wanted to shorten the line by telling people their system was down. AND they are really slow... You will be waiting in line forever because they want you to leave. I have never seen a place ran this horribly and it's sad because this McDonald's been here forever,but somebody is not managing the store. These kids are doing WHATEVER they want and they're purposely not giving you the correct order. I have other McDonald's so I'll just go to those if needed. It's not worth the hassle to go here. I wouldn't even trust the food because the employees don't care about the customers AT ALL. YALL REALLY NEED NEW MANAGEMENT. THIS STORE NEEDS TO BE MANAGED CORRECTLY.

Update: 8/8/23- I went back around 6:30 am to grab coffee... They open at 6am and there was no line... I waited at the speaker for 5 mins... I said hello anyone there? No answer. I waited another 5 minutes... Drive around and saw 2 girls in the front. I shook my head and went to Wendy's and received a hot coffee no problems. That's why this is the only McDonald's I know that barely ever has a line. Every other McDonald's be crowded making that...

I was passing through Wilkinsburg and I stopped at McDonalds takeout for a bite to eat. I only ordered a plain cheeseburger, which they actually got right, (that very rarely happens at any McDonalds), a small fries, and a small coke. I also made what they call a "special request" when I asked that the cheese on my burger be melted. The wait was not long as there was no line when I was there on a Sunday afternoon about 4:00. The workers were pleasant enough and like I said I was shocked that my whole order was correct. The only thing that bummed me out a bit was the bun was a bit burnt and the burger a bit overcooked. Though it wasn't perfect, I must have been very hungry because I ate it all.They welcome individuals and families with children of all ages. I would recommend this McDonalds restaurant for a quick bite or a little something to hold you over till the next meal. Not a bad option for late night food either as choices can be few at a later hour if you have the munchies... McDonalds not only has one drive-thru for takeout, but you can also order and eat your food inside. It is wheelchair accessible and has ample free parking that also offers handicapped spaces that can accommodate a van. There are separate public restrooms inside for both men and women and these too have access for wheelchairs. As for the Wilkinsburg McDonalds, in general, it was better than some of the others I have been to so I gave this location an extra star....

Every time I come to this location which isn’t often because something usually goes wrong like they are ALWAYS out of at least one thing you order! I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich.....I got a regular piece of chicken drowned in some kind of spicy sauce with Nothing else on it asked for a vanilla ice cream cone, with the response their machine is down. So I ordered two apple pies.......when I got to the window I was told they only had 1 apple pie. I paid for two pieces of bread with a piece of chicken drenched in spicy sauce with 1 apple pie, then the lady I paid ha def me my bag because the car in front of me was waiting for the remaining items they ordered instead of having them pull forward an letting the line move they just had them sit there either they didn’t want to walk outside to serve the customer with remaining items or the customer didn’t want to move an let others receive their food order in a timely fashion! DO NOT GO HERE I would have drove anywhere else an paid double for an order that’s correct! This place is a disgrace to be called McDonald’s or for them to even keep this location open and running poorly ever single day! Don’t try an get ahold of upper management you’ll get the answer that they are no longer in and don’t know when they will be in so you can’t speak of horrible experience you had with them! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY they don’t...
