Hotel Kast — Restaurant in Williamsport

Ordered a take out meal for the family on 3/19/23, a sunday, and was told it would be about 30 mins. It took almost an hour before we got the food. The bar was not overly busy but enough to keep the bartender, Jess, moving as fast as she could to serve everyone. She was also serving food and take outs. I have npthing but praise for the way she handled everything and think she should be promoted just for the service she provided. The management however NEED to take note: If your place is short staffed, you need to get in there, sleeves rolled up and help out. I was on the verge of cacelling our order and seeking a refund when Jess came throuhg and got me our food. She was very apologetic and took the wwait personally because she is a conscientous worker. Management - Do Better or your reputation will get tarnished. Jess - Well done lass, keep up the good work....

My boyfriend and I stopped today for lunch, our first time there. Went in and no one was there, it was around 3pm. My boyfriend peeked into the kitchen to make sure they were open. Decor is nice as in original wood and floors. Lots of seating. My boyfriend ordered the Angus burger. Nice size burger, cooked medium rare but had a whole slice of onion. It was all he could taste so he took it off. I had the Rodeo burger. Also really good but saturated in barbecue sauce. Our waitress, Reese, was Akshay thigh. She explained that both cooks added sauce and didn't realize it. Not a bad...

Food is very good. Service is terrible. Called my order in to go. Waitress on the phone said club sandwich and fries would be ready in 20 minutes. Got there 30 minutes later. Waitress told me it would be another 30 minutes bc they were in a rush. Took 1 hour to prepare a sandwich and fries. Bacon was burned and fires were soggy. The waitress made it uncomfortable while waiting in the dining room for my order. I felt like the waitress didn't apreciate our business. If they are busy, I wouldn't recommend this place. ...
