If this was rated on food alone, it is a 5. The food is good BUT...I orded ahead and still had to wait an extra 35 min for my order though the place was empty and only 2 people came to get their order while I was waiting. The guy at the counter was not friendly If I were rating based on food alone, it's a solid 5 and, no question. The food is good. BUT… I ordered ahead, expecting a smooth pickup, yet still had to wait an additional 35 minutes after arriving...and the place was empty. Only two people came in during that time. The guy at the counter? Not friendly at all. When I returned 15 minutes after checking in, he didn’t acknowledge me—even though I was the only one there. I had to ask if my order was ready, and got a flat, “about 10 more minutes.” No apology, no explanation. I ordered veal parm with vodka sauce. They upcharged me $2 (so my sandwich came out to $20), and still gave me chicken parm instead. It tasted good—but it wasn’t what I paid extra for. And not what I wanted. Bottom line: The kitchen knows what they’re doing, but the front-end service and order accuracy need serious work. The place can use some sprucing. I visit family here sometimes and I will tell them maybe to drive past this place and try somewhere else.

A coworker recently agreed to do a Gaetano's run for lunch after hearing me talk about how good their sandwiches are. While some of the people thought their prices were high, I tried to explain what the size of the sandwich would actually look like. I only ordered a regular cheese hoagie which was stuffed and there was no way I could eat the whole thing. Those that ordered steak sandwiches were duly impressed by their size and commented on how good their rolls are. The only thing my coworker didn't like was upon pick up the girl at the counter apparently expected a tip. There is no dine in service at this location and I believe tips are for those that provide table service. These workers receive a different minimum wage and rely on tips to makeup the difference. However, if you're looking for great sandwiches and steak sandwiches better than Philly head to one of the original Gaetano's.

I ordered a large cheese stake with mayo, ketchup, onions, and hot peppers. I drove 20 mins to pick sandwich up. I get back home. Thinking I'm about to eat good... man that sandwich was salty as hell! I called to let them know... First they said they would refund my card. That would of been nice. I get a call saying they can only refund my card if I bring the sandwich back which doesn't make sense to me. I told them I can send a pic. They said no we need the sandwich back. That doesn't make sense to bring a sandwich back during a pandemic. That's very unsanitary. This will be my last order from here. They use to be my go too! After today never again. Bert's in Burlington is delicious and cheaper 😋

I haven’t been there since they remodeled it, but the last owner was there since the late 80s there were literally roaches, crawling up the side of the counter, opposite of what they could see. The food was disgusting. Most of them had a Miller light can of beer in their hand when they were cooking or ringing the register.(literally talking at the top of their lungs yawing it up is not very professional while drinking beer in front of patrons). It may be under new ownership I don’t know, but I would stay away and go to the one in Willingboro, the original. I’ve been living in Willingboro 62 years and lnow both locations well. if you go to the one in the older shopping center, that’s the original it actually has a dining room. ( I would take my girlfriend in there when I was 17 or 18 and sit down at a table. The other location never had that. ). the shopping center there in is actually closed & It looks like Ghost Town looks very scary. Set in the huge parking lot that used to be a supermarket, but no worries. The town is safe. Everyone’s happy when they’re buying food. So it’s only the original Gaetanos and either a beauty supply place or a hair salon other than that the rest looks like a ghost town . Large potholes all over the parking area other than that, they’re clean polite, and there’s a big placard in there that says the original . The other guy in Pennypacker Village (Which is A newly remodel shopping center, and maybe a new owner too. I still won’t go back there. If the old owner is involved in anyway, you can bet he’s cutting corners and buying lower quality food. I still won’t go in there because I think the owner is involved in someway. Maybe not I stopped going there 10 years ago out of discusd . He’s been there since the 80s and yes, the steaks are huge and all that kind of stuff. I just didn’t get a good vibe that they were clean and after seeing everybody drinking beer Around 7 o’clock at night which is OK but this is a business!! Take a little pride in your business and don’t do that in front of your patrons that are sometimes ordering four or five cheesesteaks and a pizza and spending 60 or $80 for their family. That’s why I’m saying there was no class to set up. Hopefully, it’s different now... But that’s the vibe he didn’t care he was larger than life so hopefully all is better now. . If you go to the one in Willingboro, (The one that’s in a Ghost Town strip center with potholes in the parking lot is more like a professional courteous business. You will have no complaints like I said I’ve eaten both plenty… . I’ve lived here since my parents bought this house in 1961. They came out around the 80s , you will have excellent service and excellent food in The Willingboro location they say the best food comes from the dives. I don’t know why they don’t move...

First and last time will I ever order from this place. I ordered a mini cheesteak and fries for delivery. I only live 6 minutes from this restaurant, if driving. I waited 2 hours and 10 minutes for my meal, before calling to ask for a refund. I NEVER received my food. The lady on the other end of the phone was very rude and had an attitude & tried to demand they delivered my food to my house and said they had a signed receipt which I again, NEVER signed because it never came to my house. After debating with me for about 10 minutes, she finally realized it was the driver who delivered the food to another address that wasn’t MINES! AFTER, that bad experience they offered to re-make my food and bring it to me which I declined because I refused to wait again after waiting 2 hours while being PREGNANT & I refused to pay full price for THEIR mistake. I was issued a refund, but after that experience of unprofessionalism, I would NEVER attempt to order from here again. I don’t care how good they...
