Waffle restaurants often carry a unique charm, and this particular establishment delivers a truly memorable experience for anyone craving crispy, golden waffles — whether sweet, savory, or somewhere deliciously in between.
From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The interior often blends cozy café aesthetics with modern comfort: soft lighting, rustic wood tables, and the irresistible scent of freshly baked batter in the air. It's the kind of place that makes you want to linger — whether you're catching up with friends over brunch or enjoying a quiet solo breakfast with a coffee and book in hand.
The menu is the real star of the show. Waffles here are not just a side item — they are the main event, and the creativity shines through. Classic Belgian waffles are offered alongside unique creations like chicken and waffles, bacon-cheddar waffles, and even waffle sandwiches filled with eggs, cheese, and crispy bacon or sausage. Each dish is made to order, with waffles coming out perfectly crisp on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside.
For those with a sweet tooth, the options are heavenly: think strawberries and cream, Nutella and banana, caramel apple pie waffles, or s’mores-style creations loaded with melted chocolate, marshmallows, and graham cracker crumbles. Toppings are generous, and presentation is Instagram-worthy, making each plate feel like a little celebration.
Savory waffle lovers will also be impressed. Items like the southern-style fried chicken & waffle, waffle burgers, or even smoked salmon over herb waffles show just how versatile this dish can be. Sides like truffle fries, fresh fruit, or scrambled eggs complement the mains well, and drinks — whether fresh juices, milkshakes, or artisan coffees — are thoughtfully selected to pair with the menu.
Service is friendly and attentive, with staff that’s clearly passionate about the food. They’re happy to offer recommendations, adjust dishes for dietary needs, or simply chat about what makes their waffles special. Wait times are reasonable, even on busy weekends, and take-out is handled efficiently.
Pricing is fair, especially considering the portion sizes and quality. Most entrees fall in the moderate range, and you’re paying not just for great food but also a welcoming experience that feels indulgent yet comfortable.
In short, this waffle spot is far more than a one-note gimmick. It's a thoughtfully executed concept that delivers on flavor, creativity, and hospitality. Whether you’re a waffle purist or a flavor adventurer, there’s something on the menu that will surprise...
Read moreI'll preface this review by acknowledging that everything appears to have been exacerbated by an apparent staffing shortage. (There was a help wanted sign outside.) That said, the state of this restaurant was absolutely inexcusable. We (a party of three) walked in to find that every singe booth and counter seat had dirty dishes or some form of prior-guest garbage there...So that there wasn't any place to sit. I will note that it was around 3:30 in the afternoon....Not exactly peak time....and there were only around three different customers there. I saw two employees....I don't know if there were more or not. We stood there, surveying the options (or lack thereof) and also thinking maybe one of the employees would 1) acknowledge us and 2) realize the predicament and work to clear a booth. - Neither happened. Beyond the lack of seating, everything looked exceedingly dirty, particularly the floor. We left.
While I am a Waffle House fan, I will readily admit it's not necessary the kind of place you go with the highest of expectations or standards, but this was flat-out gross and inexcusable. If the staffing level just couldn't allow for getting all of tables cleared quickly, maybe they could've only had a smaller section open and just tried to keep up with that (?) Or just clear the necessary number of seats when customers come in. And, I understand that this might have been an exceedingly limited crew, but my sympathy wanes when they couldn't even acknowledge us and...
Read moreMy experiences for this location depend on whose working. If Krampus Amber Anna and a few other employees are working, they understand the importance of customer service and hustle. My last visit, however, was terrible. The food was great. The cook was great. 4 employees left the shift with a new server and cook. We sat at a table for 40 min or more watching people ignore us after we asked if we could sit at a dirty booth. I was told yes. We sat there until everyone left a completely full restaurant. The cook noticed us just sitting in dirty dishes and asked if there was anything else we could do for you today? When he was able to see lots of dishes. I said we would like coffee and food. Shock /embarrassment/scrambling to clean table/ apologizing for the server ignored us even after being asked to help us. We live on the West side of CLE. This is the closest Waffle House. Even through all the employee changes/shortages and covid restrictions, we were never ever ignored. ❤️ this restaurant. We will always come back to this location. The staff just walking out the back after telling us to sit down is just a complete disregard. I am very upset 😡. The whole trip took 3 hrs. Normal hour and a...
