I ordered two small pizzas and a side of Mac and cheese bites through DoorDash. It was taking over an hour and a half and it still wasn’t sent out for pickup. The bar manager explained that she was new and the cook was new, they only had XL size dough and tried to cut it up to make small pizzas but it didn’t work. They had to call in the usual cook to try to come help. She asked if I wanted the pizzas refunded and I said if you can make the pizzas please include them in the order. I placed the order at 8pm by 10:30pm only the Mac and cheese bites were delivered. Me and my girlfriend were starving and we both work early. We both ordered two 6 cuts I don’t see why they just wouldn’t have tried to make a half and half 12 cut or couldn’t have cut the XL dough smaller in some way. I called back and they said we were welcome to place a new order for XL pizzas. By then it was almost 11pm and wasn’t about to pay full price for a XL pizza after this ordeal. I’m not here to be mean or belittle anyone, the staff was nice and very apologetic. I felt bad since they were new, and we’ve all been new at one point. We’re all out here just trying to make a living but regardless what happened is unacceptable. You can’t brand yourself as a “pizza and pub” and not deliver on the pizza. Read moreOrdered online, through their website, which apparently is a 3rd party. After an hour I went to pick up. There was no food for me. Apparently the 3rd party was supposed to call me and tell me they were out of meatballs - never happened. Naturally I ask for a refund. Bartender tells me they’ll take off the two pasta dinners - crediting $18 toward my next visit. I paid $50 and got no food. I said no, I need a full refund. After about 15 mins of her calling her boss back and forth (and dealing with another order on the phone that was wrong somehow) the bartender tells me I will get a refund through the third party. I ask for some kind of reassurance - a voided receipt, something. At this point my bank account is showing the charge went through and i have no email or anything showing it was voided, reversed, etc. She goes back and forth with the boss again. Said I have to go through the third party. Asked how i do that and neither she or the cook/delivery driver knew. I didn’t even know i was using a third party. And no one in the restaurant knows how to navigate it i guess. After about half an hour of being physically in the restaurant, getting no food, and getting no evidence of a refund, it seems the best I can get is a slip of paper with the boss’s name and number on it. I asked how long would the wait be and he got an attitude and told me to hold on. Another gentleman got on the phone and said “Yeah what do you want?” I asked how long would the wait be? He yells back to someone and says to me 45mins. I was fine with that and started to place my order. He hung up. I called back and the first guy answered again - I started to place my order and he tells me to hold on. I sat on hold for a few minutes and I can hear him and a young lady using profanity back and forth playing around. I hung up. This would’ve have been my second time ordering from this establishment and the wait time was ridiculous. I ordered on 2/21 for a to go order.
