Yesterday evening (07/14/2022) my wife and I were on a drive and decided to tour the shopping center. We saw Cutters Point Coffee and decided to give it a try. I walked in and was amazed at the atmosphere and cleanliness. The interior is simple and not overwhelming. The lady behind the counter had an unwelcoming vibe about her. She wasn't inviting at all. She seemed as if me coming in to order was bothering her. The quietness and her lack of customer service skills made things really awkward. I just didn't like the fact that she wasn't engaging at all. I ordered a Caramel Macchiato, Mocha Frappe, and 2 chocolate chip cookies. I was having a hard time seeing the menu when it came to sizes so I kept saying "large" and clearly now I know that isn't the correct terminology. Sizing chart was in ounces which is okay but the lady was just standing there awkwardly staring at me. Macchiato tasted like watered down sweetened milk. Mocha frappe was good. I did like the chocolate chip cookies. They were ginormous. So with her watered down awkwardly quiet customer service and whatever the macchiato was, it's best we take our...
Read moreEverything here except the employees is pretty good. Been here numerous times over the years and the employees always look like they hate their jobs. But I guess that checks the box of hipster moody coffee shop vibe? My most recent visit I ordered a bagel and muffin and asked for them to be warmed/toasted. The girl behind the counter pointed to a toaster at the coffee fixings station and said I could do it myself. Ok....I guess I can toast my own bagel but am I supposed to microwave this muffin? If I wanted to make my own breakfast I would have done so at home for free. Coffee drinks are always pretty decent. Atmosphere is nice, clean, good for getting some work done. I'll return, but probably just won't tip as much next time because the employees don't really do anything above and beyond the bare minimum of...
Read moreI ordered their new matcha latte with oat milk this morning. When it came out it was cream colored which is not how matcha lattes are supposed to look. I took it back to my car and had a sip and it was nasty, tasted like syrupy oat milk. I went back in explaining I was puzzled by the odd experience and the person at the counter said that they must have put too much milk in it and the person who made it rolled their eyes at me which was rude. But they did remake it. However the second one literally looked and tasted exactly the same as the first one. I will not be back. I paid $6 for this and it was absolute trash not to mention the rude customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this place. You’ll find better service, and lower prices at your...
