BEWARE! I visited the Market St, Wilmington, NC store. This location is under very poor management. I visited this store on 8/29/23 at around 12 pm and let's just say.....I had the worst experience ever at a fast food restaurant. In a nutshell, I was parked ahead of the drive thru line awaiting fresh fries. While waiting, I decided to eat my sandwhich. It was NOT the gyro I ordered. So, I drove around to get back in the drive thru line to make them aware of the incorrect sandwhich while still waiting for my fresh fries. When I approached the drive thru there was a kind younger girl there who I explained to I wanted a refund due to still waiting for fries and my sandwich being incorrect. The kind lady at the window called for management to issue a refund which I expected. What I didn't expect was the for the manager to be loud, belligerent and have her stomach hanging all the way out of her collar shirt and to her knees while fixing food. Her unprofessional demeanor was an eye sore as a face of the company. She asked why I wanted a refund and I explained, I'm still waiting for fries, at this point its been 13 minutes and my sandwich only has meat and onions. She at that point, loudly and rudely told me "give me the food ma'am give me the food, now." She literally spoke to me as a child because I wasn't moving fast enough for her all while my 5 year old was in the car. I attempted to give her the bag and receipt that she had also requested and she would only take the receipt. The food landed on the ground and she starting screaming "ma'am I'm not giving you anything. You can call corporate." I then asked, so are you refusing to issue a refund for the fries I'm still waiting for and the sandwich you all made incorrectly? She replied, "yes." She slammed the drive thru window after throwing my receipt out of the window. My son cried in the backseat and I parked my car on the side of the building and called the police. The police arrived and got my side of the story first and gave my son a sticker to help him feel better about the situation. When the officer returned, he stated that the manager requested I be trespassed from the restaurant and I was issued a trespassing warning. I frequent the location for myself and when doing Uber Eats but I'm no longer allowed on the premisses. I was given no food and no refund. I've reached out to corporate and it's been to no avail. I was told they would call me back within 24-48 hours or sooner due to the severity of the situation and I've heard nothing back. I called my debit cards customer service and filed a dispute per the officer who arrived at the scene. I'm awaiting a call back. I'm now feeling that the poor management is a reflection of the of the entire company. I will not be back to any of their stores if the situation is not...
Read moreNeed to tell your drive thru staff to be a little more professional with order taking. Don't really care for deep breaths and making me feel like I'm a bother by ordering. Also, I think the order takers hand was bleeding when handing my food to me. Maybe it was a tattoo but really looked like blood. I notice this and it actually turned my stomach and I'm not happy. I'm literally done with this place as I know the food handling is not proper. I can see it through the window. Also I don't need 15 napkins with my 2 little sliders I ordered. After awhile that has to be costly. Surprised your even still in business to be honest. Reliable customer that's actually done with the Arby's brand because fast food has become a joke with health and safety for the guest. This is my opinion only. To bad I couldn't give zero stars or I would have. One star is still way to much for this place. I won't be eating my food either. Don't care about refund!!
Update: @Arby's - Are u really sorry about my experience or is that an auto generated typical response. I put my money on auto generated response. This is what's sad. There is no human element to the responses. I feel like I am a bother again. You do exactly what your drive thru attendant does to customers. Make you feel like a bother and are annoyed because of your people you hire. Don't care about the volume of complaints that come in each day. Maybe CEO needs to come off the bonuses a little bit....
Read moreGoing downhill QUICK! A frequent visitor at this Arby’s and the quality and experience has changed drastically, and not for the good. I pulled up today at the drive through speaker and was told they were not currently taking orders at the drive through that I would have to come in. No problem. Came in to order and the young gentleman at the counter after finishing with the guy infront of me picks his phone up and starts texting with me at the counter. I wait. When he finishes texting he asks what can I get you and I order my combo meal. Guess what- they are out of fries! So I ordered mozzarella sticks instead. Price of my meal increases when I didn’t even want mozzarella sticks. Go to fix my drink, Hi-C. Guess what- just water comes out. I get Powerade instead. Food comes up the gentleman slides me my tray and very quickly heads from behind the counter, had to stop him to ask him for sauce for my sandwich. I go look for a table to sit down, they are all nasty dirty. Find the best one I can. The gentleman goes out in the lobby cutting up with some other young guy who apparently works at Hardee’s.
